yeah i downloaded from rombeotch and it worked first try; it does seem to take awhile on first boot though, like a few minutes. i always wipe data/factory reset and format system before new installs, other than that i didn't do anything else to get it to work.

Yea I do all the wiping. Mine starts to boot but then cames up with something about motorola phone stoped working I could not get out of it. So I justed rewiped and went to a back up

are you using the latest aokp stock build dated september 26? i gave up anyway because super su is a pita on this build. back on this cm 10 and somehow google search/google now is working; not sure but i think it had to do with updating search in google play.

No the one I'm using is dated 9-22. So I guess we can wait a little longer....

anyone else having problems with root access on this build? for example, es file explorer has root but fails to copy files into /system directories. had the same issue on aokp...

What are you guys using for wifi tether? I can't seem to get it to work. I might be doing something wrong.

Fixed the duplicate songs by unmounting sd card>wiping apollo data,>wiping davic in safe strap then rebooting :-) i fixed super user issues by disabling the app, rebooting and enabling it again. Wifi tether built in is working good for me

thanks, will try that fix for superuser next time i flash this. back to stock for now, i just like to have everything working without issues. anyone else have issues with safestrap nandroid restores? my backups always fail on restoring /system. i knew this is an issue with the bootstrap ics apk, but didn't know this was also an issue with safestrap.

Whenever I open an app like facebook or tweetcaster I get a pop up error message. It says "google speech to text engine has stopped". It does this every single time I open the app. Has anyone else been getting this?

Using Handscent it sends the mms, but it takes some time to actually show that it was sent. Atleast that's how it is for me.

i get this error on initial boot after each fresh install. for me it goes away after launching google search and voice search (which force close) and then updating search in the play store.

There is an update for this rom. just finished. 09-29-12 is the fix date. good luck.

Update your google search. then reboot.

I think I just said both of these things in my post.
