This is a known issue with CM10 - have to use 3rd party camera for now.

and for video recording what do you use?

I think Hash got that to work, but it's just not in HD yet. I can't vouch for that, though.

hmmm.... so, I had the same issue with my camera, but all I did was to download camerafx (others just get camera360), and then used that app as a camera. Now, when trying to use video, I haven't tried going straight from the stock camera yet, but I just switch on the camerafx to video, and I think it pulls up the stock version... Once again, that was just a really quick thing for me, so I might not be the best person to help there, man. Sorry about that. I hope this is at least a little helpful.

In your options button you should see "Gallery, Video, import, Share Camera ZOOM FX, Settings, Help" - If you select video, it opens up your video for you.

If you try to open the stock camera at all, it will be unavailable to every other app until your next reboot. Though force closing the camera app MIGHT do it. I've never actually tried. Basically, the stock camera turns into a zombie process when you run it (This includes using flashlight apps that try to operate the LED as a Motorola camera flash)

What's the chances on this rom getting Bluetooth calls working anytime soon?

Codename Android
Combines the features of AOKP and cm10 together.
Rather legit if i do say so myself

I gave it a small run, lots of customization like aokp. I would probably prefer code named android as a base for roms when everything is stable in kexec.

I'd say as soon as you roll up your sleeves and start working on it?
