Found it!!! Apparently me and safestrap 3.04 have some getting to know you issues to figure out. It chose a old cm-9 install from internal storage instead of the new cm-10 from sdcard. at this point i'm sure it was operator error and not safestrap i obviously missed something again!!!

Just figured out my music sound issue. There was a prompt that started I could only authorize up to 10 different devices at a time, took me to a web site for me to deauthorize some. I deauthorize 3 and now Google play music and Pandora work perfect. The devises looked like older Rom flash dates or something. Some were my KF and some were android device Nov. 2011, etc.

This is my number one reason for loving Titanium Backup. It can change your device ID to match the one from a previous install. It asks you right when you open it. It will prevent you from having eleventy three different devices registered for things like Google Play Music, because you do that BEFORE installing the music app and it reports itself as the same device you were already using. The Kindle App and possibly the Nook app have the same thing, as does My Backup Root (free version only). I used to use My Backup Root for SMS/MMS backups before Titanium incorporated that feature.

Let me say first that i was coming from STOCK-cm-10-20120929 and have been running it for a week or so and I want hashcode and dhacker to know that the rom is awesome and I really do appreciate the enormous amount of work you have put into safestrap and CM-10. Safestrap 3.04 is amazing. Installed per instructions and all went well then I flashed STOCK-cm-10-20121013-unofficial-targa.zip with the latest gapps-jb-20121011-signed. Imagine my suprise when the rom comes up i see CyanogenMod version 9 show up and android version 4.0.4 appear on my bionic. I got the files from rombot.org not that i am complaining by know means but can somebody please point me to the real cm-10.

@Tazwing - Not sure what you got but CM10 did have CM9 boot animation when it first launched. It is now the CM10 animation and 4.1 JB in all of the current builds. I maintain links for the latest CM10 and AOKP JellyBean roms for Bionic (Targa) here:

Does anyone else have problems with GPS? I did a full wipe before installing this from .232 leak, and I'm getting no gps. I ran GPS toolbox and it sees satellites, but the fix stays at 0.

Does anyone know if it is possible to install JB using Bootstrap? I am asking for a few reasons. I hate having ICS as my "Safe Stock" ROM while using Safestrap. I am tired of using Safestrap. It's a nice program for some people, but not me. I want one ROM and thats it.

If anyone has any information on this, please let me know.

Hey bro, these won't flash without SS 2.11, however if you're flashing the new Kexec builds you need the beta version of SS 3.0. there's no work around, brother. Its not difficult to switch. Just Google it. Hope this helps.

Switch to SS 3.x, flash rom, setup everything, then uninstall SS and reinstall BS.

Using SS makes me feel like I have a bunch of extra clutter on my phone and SD card that I do not need. I would be prefectly fine if my base ROM could be changed. However, with SS you have to stick with ICS...and thats about as far as that goes. That is my main issue. So if there is no way to use Bootstrap, then is there a way to change my Base rom to JB?

Lol, I have tried this as well...no luck. I actually tried this method twice and it always sends me into a boot loop.

I felt the same way dude. I was 100% against using SS. But I'm unsure there are any JB ROMs that are compatible with BS. I would say your best bet is to keep what you're currently running as your "safe" ROM and flash a JB one on the non-safe side.

I think I remember reading on the ss3 install page about being able to flash the safe side in future releases of ss Hell you might be able to do it now I've haven't tried or thought about it myself might give it a try later.

The guy that does SS is the guy that makes the JB roms available for us. They go hand in hand. On his blog he said that SS 3.04 is beta and is not where he wants it to be yet but he is working on that in addition to the 4 other JB builds for Targa plus the other devices he develops.

Just installed this with SS. Have. 247 installed on stock. This is extremely impressive.

This is a known issue with CM10 - have to use 3rd party camera for now.
