Hey guys. Before I begin, I want to apologise if I'm posting in the wrong spot, I'm relatively new here... On to the actual issue:
So, I've had this Droid RAZR M for about a year now. Over all, it's been good to me, and it's been an awesome first smartphone. To clean it up, over these past few months, I've done a few factory resets, and about six months ago, I rooted it for the first time. Everything was working great until very recently, about a month ago, in fact that Google apps started acting up. First, it was the Play Store, with the common, but dreaded, "No connection. Retry?" error. At this point, every other app was working. After about two days, Google Now, YouTube, and Google Play Music began having similar issues. With Now, it's the, "Sign-in error," message. On YouTube, it reads, "There was a problem with the network." Worst of all, is Google Play Music. All of my songs are there, and it displays my Google Account name where it should, but, when I go to play a song that's not saved to my device, (and sometimes, ones that are,) it displays a message saying, "Couldn't play the stream you requested." This is not an issue on any of my other devices, and this issue occurs both inside and outside of connected wifi zones. I have uninstalled and reinstalled updates manually, but to no avail. I'd really like to avoid factory resetting, because, I just got everything reconfigured from the most recent one I did.
Thanks a lot guys.
- Adam.
