this has probably been addressed before, but wind mobile has android 4.0 running on their mytouch, why cant you simply flash that rom onto the tmobile mytouch ( i probably said something stupid sorry im a noob)

Because t-mobile sucks, huawei has 4.0 firmware for this phone, but t-mobile must put their skin and stupid apps inside,   but they dont want because they are not selling this phone anymore,

just use greenify if u have root access. u can find paid version on black market, or just use the free version

will not work as only runs on 4.??? looks good app as well.

so if u somehow unlock the phone (sim unlock not bootloader) and acquire a wind mobile sim card, you can ota update to 4.0?

after which you simply have to put in your t-mobile sim card.

The unrooter doesn't work for me. I have Build Number U8730 cuz I did the latest OTA update. I believe I read somewhere in this forum that that's the reason why the unrooter won't work for me. Are there any options for me? I really need my phone unrooted

Nevermind. The Universal Unroot app worked for me. Now I can keep rooting my phone with  and resetting it with Universal Unroot. Very nice options for me

I need a favour, if someone has ubuntu please conect your phone and tell me all the partition names and sizes

So i conected my phone to ubuntu and the partitions are ok.  But   the ext4 and fat32 ones are empty. But all the partitions are ok.  I can only boot into blue and pink screen..  But when i try to flash the latest firmware update fails after unpucking.  Is there a way to unbrick or shoold i throw this phone?
