This rom is sick! Great work! I just came from EclipseICS 1.3, I flashed a few other roms here and there but always ended up back on Eclipse until now.

I have only one issue, the gallery on Eclipse supported Picasa / Google+ photos. That feature was awesome, it seems like this is the same gallery but no picasa sync. Is the Droid HD gallery supposed to sync picasa? Or is this something that might be added in the future?

If you are having issues with the compass on google maps, this bug existed on the .211 OTA. I'm not sure if someone answered this question (I didn't have time to scan all 42 pages) but if you update the google maps app to the latest version the compass works again. I had to delete the current app before I could install the latest version, I kept getting a signing error.

Backup all of your user data and app data first because they WILL get wiped. I would NOT flash this over a custom ROM without following the instructions in the OP.

Hi guys

I'm using this rom for a few days now and I've noticed that homelauncher is a bit laggy, despite of what most of you say, or comparing to trebuchet or nova.
I like circle widget, so I'm stack with home. Is there a way to make it more fluid?
Second, I have only 2 or 3 lines of signal (like in OP pics and some attachements) and rarely 5 lines, so I guess is a common thing for this rom. Any of you noticed that?
And third, what are the best settings for governor and scheduler for battery life?

Thank you

Well using safestrap 3 and still same issue. I install games by gameloft and the additional downloads are only saved to the internal storage and not my sd card. I dont know if this is a rom issue or a safe strap issue but i even have the same issue with stock rooted as well.

The internal storage is partitioned into three sections - App storage, media area, and OS. In order for the partitioned user-available portion of the internal memory - called "media area" - to be properly recognized by the Android OS, it's actually named "sdcard" in the OS file structure. So, because of the way Motorola has things set up, your phone views the media area as the SD card. The actual SD card is called "sdcard-ext" in the file structure, and you can't natively move applications to it. The thinking here is that between the dedicated app storage and the media area (both of which are a part of the internal memory, totaling around 11GB), most users shouldn't need to move any apps to the actual SD. Additionally, apps can misbehave and cause problems when stored on the actual SD card if everything doesn't load properly (or if the SD card is removed), so this a way to prevent any issues along those lines.

I run into issue low storage and have almost all of gameloft games using over 15gb of additional storage. Under stock factory non rooted gameloft installs the additional dlownloads to the sd-ext card. So why then doea safestrap with non stock roms then not use sd-ext.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2I have only 3gb free when using hd rom for internal storage and i know moto calls it sd card but its really internal.

yes but you have to turn off google now and all and whats the point of turning off a major feature of the os? Also by turning off data and wifi and calling and going into airplane mode will save battery more. Just use it as a mp3 player and forget the rest.

Same here although when I'm at home I switch to wifi. Actually, Juice Defender does it for me.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the stock moto keyboard with Swype on this rom somehow? I like everything about this rom pretty much except that there's no longer any type of swype feature on the stock keyboard.

To get Swype, I went to my unsafe side and copied the Swype.apk from the /system/app folder to my sdcard-ext partition. Rebooted back to my safe side and placed it into the /system/app folder. Change the permissions to Swype.apk ( rw-r--r-- ) to match the other apks. Reboot phone and it should be installed.

I don't know if that will work for you or not but I ran across it earlier and thought you might want to try it out.
