Issue 1, you only needed to reboot once after initial boot to get data, per instructions in op.

Issue 2, buy your kid a used droidX to play games on B-) lol

Issue 3, you can move that apk to /system/app with root explorer. Be sure to change permissions to match

The issue 2 still needs to be addressed as he used my phone because his lg is crap and his mom wont let me get him android only a feature phone. I PoiNted out its easier to use parental control on android anseasier to track him on android. My phone takes a pic each time screen is turned on and emails me it and gps. I also have call logs sent to my google calendar along with gps and texts also

You can pick up a cheap droidX or DROID incredible for around $50, use it on wifi only without activating, way cheaper than an iPod touch...

he wont get a new or used phone. he has to use mine. his mom wont let him. She only wants him to have a basic flip phone. I told her that with android its easier to use parental controls and to track his movements with like Mobiucare and to also see who he calls and all and to place restrictions with norton parental controls as to when he can make calls and to who he can call.

I want to use the sd card for the additional game downloads so that i save on internal storage and some games are like 1gb to 4gb of additional downloads so a basic droid x will not do for him. I currently have him on a lg enlighten and it cant run crap, we use it only on wifi. Its only good for basic stuff and when i bought that phone ($5 used) his mom later was very unhappy but my son was happy but soon realized it does not run crap, so most of the time he uses mine.

but the hd rom is nice. just wish the additional downloads went to the sd card... anyone know why it does not.... i think its because of the safestrap.

Im having the same issue. Your skydrive does in fact say that the folder is empty. I will provide you with my email as well. I bought the droid razr maxx thinking that it was the HD version....but I guess I was horribly wrong.

Yeah I know, thats whats sad about my post above. These hd rom links arent available at the moment and this guys skydrive hasn't gotten the file attatched to it yet. So, im hoping it will be mirrored soon.

Apologies guys, Kebob has backups of the files. What happened was our server host had issues with my Droid Razr Utility destroying the charts for measuring bandwidth usage.
