Is there a way to get the original Google Search app? I can't download it from the app store. It says it's incompatible with my device.

Thanks!

In this rom could we get the notification toggles changed to some other toggles that we can use that's not in the quick settings to the left, like brightness adjustment And mobile hotspot Etc. Can you do something about that keyboard icon that pops up in the notification bar everytime the keyboard comes up. I've went into the configuration settings and turned them all on and it still comes up and i've turned all of them off which stops it for a little while but starts popping back up again. Thanks

That's how you quickly change keyboards in ICS. No more long press in text area to change keyboards.
You can disable it in settings, language and input, uncheck selector notification

If you only have one keyboard installed, you won't see the notification.
But you don't have this option in settings?

Don't have the volume key thing either. Are you sure you're on this rom and not another?

Flashed this rom yesterday. I'm loving it so far. Very solid. Keep up the good work!

I'll add the same thing, but i have multiple input options, but no option to turn off notifications. Very weird, would love for that idiot notification to go away.

I was using the softkeys version for a while, but I noticed that it doesn't really readjust the screen size, so some apps and games that rely on the bottom part of the screen had things obscured by the soft keys that I couldn't see or access. So, I'm on the hard keys ROM. I miss the soft keys. I really loved them, but you can't really go wrong with either ROM (soft or hard keys).

Great job!

Is it just me, or does DNS for dev.crackflasher.com appear to be non-existent?

I use OpenDNS, and it's CacheCheck (

) shows NXDOMAIN for dev.crackflasher.com, as does the DNS lookup tool at Network Tools (

).

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I can't find any mention of it.

I love the rom but have a few questions.
I am on verizon razr xt912 with san disk 32gb sd card
I have safestrap 2.1x installed
I wipped system, cache, etc and installed your rom....
Two issues: data and sd card storage...

issue 1:
i had to turn phone off remove lte sim card, turn phone back on, turn phone back off, reinsert lte sim card, turn phone back on to get data working after first install.

issue 2:
My son uses my phone for games by gameloft and others. He installed like 10 games of various sizes and all the additional downloads that they require went to the internal storage and not the sd card that is 32gb in size. I dont have an option under app to move to sd card only to phone. To see if it is the game or not I used droid razr 1.8 utility and went back to stock and the game installed the additional download to the external sd card. So then I re rooted and all and now back on your rom and testing again to see if it goes only to internal storage. Is this a rom issue, a safestrap issue or something else?

issue 3:
I think the launcher should be under the system apps directory and not the data\app directory as when i did a factory reset under privacy the launcher went away. had to reflash the rom again.

Issue 1, you only needed to reboot once after initial boot to get data, per instructions in op.

Issue 2, buy your kid a used droidX to play games on B-) lol

Issue 3, you can move that apk to /system/app with root explorer. Be sure to change permissions to match
