I did a data wipe/factory reset but next time I will be sure to back up my nova launcher first so I dont have to place everything again where and how I had it. ROM is awesome by the way!

i backed up apps including Nova w/ TiBU and restoring also restores the settings / homepages / etc.

The google now doesn't seem that great and also buggy. She doesn't really say much... i mean i know its just a gimmick but if you want to impress your friends or an iphone user she should "say" more things. And, the biggest deal breaker is when i try to do just a general search of something, I cant click and open the Links. Only ONE time when i clicked a Link it let me choose chrome as a default and its never opened a link again. Guess im sticking with the old fashion way. other than that this ROM is epic!

I don't think Google now is a gimmick at all. It's meant to be functional, not a personal assistant like Siri. Sure, certain questions will get you a voice response answer, but it can do a lot more than that and it learns form your use of it. The implementation in this ROM (and any ICS ROM) is from a hack that allows it to be used on ICS. It's written for JB. Your problem with opening links is due to this. Right now, the only way to use the general search function is to press the little magnifying glass to the right of the actual link, this will bring up page preview mode, you can then scroll thru the pages (left - right) and click the page you want to open. The Google Now experience is much more complete on a true JB ROM, but I am glad that the Devs included it in this one.

Plus I think Google Now is always learning and will get better over time. I have been using it for a week or so. Yesterday I did a google search on my PC for Bill Gray's coupons. By the time I walked out the door Google Now popped up with traffic annd driving directions to Bill Grays. Awesomeness...

Thanks for the info. Im sure google now will evolve and become awesome. Btw, let me say to anybody who sitting on the fence about whether they should install this rom. perhaps you think you don't care about Google now or some lame stock launcher and circle widgets. I myself am using Nova launcher and love this rom! It is the smoothest and most able ROM we have for our devices

Does anybody else find this level of "integration" disturbing? I keep my phone and my PC separate for a reason. My wife has doen some searches/ordered food online that was emant to be a surprise, and I knew all about it on my phone within seconds. Yes, yes, you can opt out, but you have to opt out. In the meantime, the great spyware I mean google machine in the sky keeps sucking up spending and browsing data...

This ROM, with Nova, is pretty damn slick no doubt. I even paid the .25$ for the Nova Prime upgrade becuase of this ROM.

Meh.... The world is turning into a more sharing less private world. Between facebook and google I would rather use this cool technology then spend time worrying about big brother. At some point we all have to choose between cool tech and paranoia. It not for everyone just my choice.

Actually, if you never "opt-in" you don't have to "opt-out". It's not enabled by default on the first run. At least it hasn't been for me.

The calendar is not working for me. I keep getting the FCs. Is there a way to install the gapps and/or the stock calendar?

Anyone having this problem: Twice now my phone has randomly started saying in a very robotic voice (think OG cylon) "You have an incoming call." and says it over and over but I have no call. And no text notification, and no email notification... its like out of the blue it just wants to say that. I tested calling myself from another phone and the proper ringtone goes off, and all indications are there that I missed a call (if I don't answer it).

So I'm not sure whats going on with this "You have an incoming call" business, but I dont think its an incoming call....

Why does my device never check for updates? It just says "Available Updates" but doesn't do anything. I tried using the refresh. When I first did it, it would actually give me a message stating no updates are available.

I'd like to download the update for non-soft.
