1.1 is the soft update you already got your update. The dev is just now rolling out the nonsoft update.

I uninstalled YouTube and the Authenticator with but when I try to install through the store I get that the phone isn't compatible with that app.

I started download of update and left it. When I remembered it was ready I forgot what it told me to wipe. Data or cache?

Well, you have to have a launcher in / system for the phone to work.....

Of course you do. The Stock Moto launcher serves that purpose. Adding a second third party launcher as a system app isn't necessary at all, nor is making Apollo a system app necessary. That was my point--it would be nice to have some flexibility built in versus having to delete or disable baked in third party apps the vast, vast majority of users may have another preference for.

Just a suggestion. It's simple enough to remove these things.

The Youtube issue is bugging me though. And yes, I've gotten rid of the authenticator, still get the error.

If you are coming from a version of HD rom below 1.1 then you are REQUIRED to wipe Data then jsut flash

What does it take to get motocast working? Can't get past the id step.

Hmm let me guess you didnt wipe data as you are suppose to and as it is stated...... that should fix the problem as the launcher is not a system app so a data wipe is required

I wiped data, cache/Dalvik & formatted system. Had no issues w/ default homescreen. It popped right up w/ the Circles widget, quick settings, etc.

Yep, that'd be it. Didn't realize had to do that as it was an upgrade. My bad, but thanks though. So I can still just install the update like a normal flash rom?

So i am on soft 1.1 i would like to switch over to the hard key version. Kebob said that if you are below 1.1 then you need to wipe, so since im on 1.1 i assume i dont need to wipe. So to easily switch over to the hard key version sounds like i need to download to. Zip and flash just like normal. I might do a wipe just to be safe. Where is the download for the new hard key version? I must have missed where it was posted.

Also, kebob. In future updates, what will you be adding feature wise ?

One more thing . I cant seem to redownload the music that i bought from the play store. It usually would say purchased but nothing that i have bought music wise shows up.

Try clearing the play store data and cache. That usually fixes the issue for me.

Anything special you did to have amazing battery life on both non soft versions my percentages on battery seems to drop 10% every hour
