I've noticed this on arctic 2.2 as well. Is this just a kernel feature? Similar to my incredible that would turn the led green (done) at 90% on aosp roms? Regardless on both phones it did continue to fully charge even if it says "charged" at 95%. Because its always 100% when I wake-up after charging all night

I tried the 1.1 soft key ROM first and it charged fine and matter of fact it stayed at 100% for awhile after unplugging it from the charger so I dont know. I cant wait for the update on the non soft ROM it would complete me lol

I had the same issue. The fix that worked for me is to download the simplex rom and using a root explorer go into the simplex rom zip under system/app copy welcomewebtop.apk and copy it to system/app edit the permissions to r-w-r-r then install it. Then reboot into safestrap and wipe cache and delvik cache and reboot. Worked for me.

Thanks for the tip. I did what you stated. Unfortunately, it didn't stop the messages. They don't appear as frequently but it still happens.

Anyone know if hdmi is supposed to even work under this rom?

i'll pay closer attention at the next charge, but i think on my phone it's still dropping to 99% immediately on unplugging (v1.1 soft-key)

Yep, getting the following message when I try to update during the installation phase after it downloads it:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

Edit: I'm on 1.02 NonSoft if that makes any difference. I did update the Google Play store apk to 3.8.17 under /system/app because it wouldn't update the Google Play store from what was in the ROM originally (3.5.15, I think). Not sure if that makes any difference or not.

Edit: Also, I have no updates to YouTube installed, it's just the system apk, so following those directions would be a little difficult (well, I could remove the APK from /system/app, but I doubt you'd have to do that on a stock ROM ... :) )

Same error here. I saw a post that said uninstall with TiBu, reboot then it will install from the store. Have not tried it yet

FWIW, I got the same error, uninstalled with Rom Toolbox pro, re-downloaded from the Play store and installed without reboot and it worked fine.

I wish they would stop including these apps as system apps. It's annoying to have to uninstall with titanium then restart just to update

This. Though YouTube isn't really that bad an idea. Apollo was the biggest PITA because it kept starting anytime I took my headphones out. Did I really need Emimem blaring over the speakers as soon as I unplugged?

Some apps it makes sense, but music players and home screen launchers are probably two of the most personalized choices people make on these phones. Making them system apps presupposes everybody loves YOUR launcher and music player, which automatically makes you wrong.

There was a dude back in the Droid X days who built in a utility to his ROMs allowing you to make system level changes easily, like keyboards, launchers, gallery, etc. Be nice to see that sort of utility included in this generation.

Well, you have to have a launcher in / system for the phone to work.....

Cool, thanks! I'm downloading it right now. This rom has been great!

Update: I had my phone plugged in while updating and upon first boot I had no data (as expected), so I tried to reboot, but my power button and hard keys aren't working. I'm waiting for my phone to die, so that I can reboot it and see if all is well. It's times like these where great battery life sucks.
