Okay, bit the bullet and decided to try Droid HD over Arctic HD. Love the soft keys, even though they do eat up some screen real estate, but it's nice. I have to get use to not having the search button anymore which made it easy for me to immediately begin searching.

Overall, nice ROM. In fact, I feel this might perform even better than Arctic HD. I'll have to wait and see how it all pans out, but so far, excellent work guys!

Thanks for all the hard work you put into releasing these ROMs and utilities.

setup as exchange. when you setting up your email, select other not Hotmail. Then set it up manually by choosing exchange. The top info is your email address and under server settings put in m.Hotmail.com. then follow instructions for next screen if you want to see all your emails or up to a month and select sync calendars so on

It does, try out different governors and see wich one fits you, i underclock mine to 1.0 Ghz and i get at least 2 days the way i use mine.

I have been using hotplugx and noop with juice defender ultimate and battery life is great until i use my phone, then the battery drains pretty fast. Im on nonsoft 1.02 patiently waiting for the update.

Im using hotplugx and noop now seems to be slightly better. I reinstalled the ROM today because i was shopping around until we get the update. But had a strange battery issue. It was showing 95 percent and fully charged. But I left it to charge and it got to 100. In 22 minutes its down to 97 granted as soon as u unplug its 99.

Tried HDMI tonight and it worked for a bit, but I would keep getting a UI Stopped Working error. I'd clear out the error message that popped up and after 30 seconds or so, I'd get another error.

Hopefully this can get fixed?


Great job otherwise. This ROM is REALLY snappy. I like how smooth and fast it is.

Which version of GApps signed package works for this ROM? I don't like the inverted stuff.

I can't seem to get chrome or Gmail to update from play store, says uninstall previous version. If I do that would it work then? Or would I have to re flash rom?

I've noticed this on arctic 2.2 as well. Is this just a kernel feature? Similar to my incredible that would turn the led green (done) at 90% on aosp roms? Regardless on both phones it did continue to fully charge even if it says "charged" at 95%. Because its always 100% when I wake-up after charging all night

update for nonsoft yet? trying out other ROMs until the nonsoft update, then will restore backup and update.

Yes, I have adjusted the governors. This rom was already pretty good for me on the battery life before doing so, but my best results have been with the following settings:

CPU Max: 1.0Ghz
CPU Min: 300 MHz
Governor: Hotplugx
Scheduler: Noop

Your results may vary! I'd describe my usage as moderate for the most part.

I had the same issue. The fix that worked for me is to download the simplex rom and using a root explorer go into the simplex rom zip under system/app copy welcomewebtop.apk and copy it to system/app edit the permissions to r-w-r-r then install it. Then reboot into safestrap and wipe cache and delvik cache and reboot. Worked for me.

Yea! Kebob is back! He commented on the arctic HD. Phew! I got the shakes man! Just shoot that non soft update straight into my arm! Lol
