Thanks for all the help. Im new to the hole rooting thing, but you guys are doing a great job. Thanks for all the help. The ROM runs great and if it didnt shut down on me i would have no complaints. If you have any sugestions i would appreciate it.Yes kinda. Its way outdated though. I wasnt able to get to all the updating i wanted to get done this weekend. I will be updating it to 1.11 when i get the chance. If everything runs well it will be like this for awhile. Then i will get a nonsoft done and a Arctic update that will include DSGs theme

Love the rom ...installed 2days ago and loving it i see that there are a few updates...1.01-1.02 & 1.1 but they dont come up in the OTA update when i click avaible updates nothing happens? any suggestions?...Does that jelly bean theme just work for the 1.1 version or does it work for both 1.0 &1.1You are the first person to have this problem so I dont really know what to do. Maybe there is something that you installed? Like using tibu can do this

For 1.1 is wiping data all we need to do or should we wipe cache dalvik and format system as well?

if you are on the "non-soft keys" version he's not quite ready with that update yet.

It doesn't hurt to wipe cache a second time but it shouldn't really be necessary. When you do a "wipe data/factory reset" in SS it wipes the cache partition too and ICS will rebuild Dalvik if it needs to. I haven't looked at the install script on this specific ROM, but most devs include a /system format in the script prior to installing the ROM. Again, a manual wipe doesn't hurt either.
Edit: Just installed this coming from HDROM (non-soft) and all I did was a FDR. No cache wipe or /system format necessary. YMMV of course, as I said, it doesn't hurt anything.

I can make the reflective for this theme what size you want. When we developers as a whole build themes and mods we use stock rom
For me to build on this theme will not take long. But remember every update you will lose your mod
i appreciate it. very nice of you!
the 40 dip reflective blue in your thread is what i've been using

I do have a few questions though. I cant seem to be able to disable data from Smart Actions like I was before I rooted. I usually had it set up to disable data when i was connected to wifi or when my screen was off but i cant do that now. Also, I have sticky note as a widget and i cant edit it. Anybody else notice these problems?
Also, when i update to a newer version later on when they are made available...can i just simply download the .zip and place it on my sd card root and boot into SS and install it without wiping or FDR? When i installed this ROM i followed all the instructions and wiped everything so it would be nice if i didnt have to wipe everything when install updates.

Im also wondering about the data wipe? when updating would love if i dont have to ?So I am new to rooting and flashing roms. I didnt really have a clue what to do. I researched and researched and read up and asked a few questions here and there and managed to root, install safestrap and flash this AWESOME ROM. I LOVE IT. Yall did an excellent job. I love the quick settings, and the circle widget, and the better battery life. I am currently running 1.1 with the soft keys. In the future I would like to run the non-soft version but I will wait until more updates and fixes and features come along.

it will depend on how extensive the updates are.
i dirty flashed (no data wipe) from 1.0 to 1.01 and tried it for the 1.1 update and it caused FC issues with the launcher.
get something like Titanium Backup and it will make restoring your phone after a full wipe much simplier.

Edit: OK put it in "Ringtones" under sdcard and didn't show up under system settings>sound>phone ringtone. Then put it under system>media>audio>ringtones and it didnt show up. Rebooted my phone and now its in the list twice, heh.
So still wondering how to set it to a specific person. cant seem to find that setting under contacts.
Edit 2: Ugh, found it. I swear that wasnt there before when I was looking, heh.

It is not a flashable zip, you need to extract the contents and install the apk's individually. I have installed it myself on HDROM (non-softkey) and it works fine. YMMV
