i like having the soft keys i just thought there were normally 4 so was just wondering

menu softkey (3-dots) will pop up on the right, depending on the program. newer programs optimized for ICS/JB will have the settings/menu in the main part of the screen. usually upper-right like you can see in Gmail.

Off the top of my head, a couple of programs that show the 4th softkey are Yelp & GSam Battery Monitor

Been trying since yesterday to update via the OTA app but it doesn't seem to be working for me. When it finally downloaded the zip a little while ago upon trying to flash it SS aborted with a message it was "unable to open the zip (bad)."

I noticed the app won't DL via 4G connection and WI-FI in my house isn't the best. Any suggestions?

Oh yeah--Set CPU (or whatever) keeps whining about unclean shutdowns, so I disabled the safety that allows it to load on boot. I'm assuming that is no big deal...?

Does this happen when you power down and then power up? Or are you using a quick reboot app?

data wipe needed.

the message in OTA says to do it, but i tried a dirty flash anyway (with Cache & Delvik wipe) and got a bunch of FC's.

wiped data and reflashed and am good to go.

the Nav buttons are a bit big for me so flashed the reflective blue soft key mod linked in the OP and, unexpectedly, it also overwrote the blue settings button that shows in Apps, the fade in the wifi icon, & the blue nav menu switch icons back to the regular ROM settings!

still retains the non-Blur settings icons.

oh well, but non-Dev modders can't be too picky!

I can make the reflective for this theme what size you want. When we developers as a whole build themes and mods we use stock rom
For me to build on this theme will not take long. But remember every update you will lose your mod

Same here, and my wifi is terrific now that I have my new router.

I've not had this happen at all nor heard of anyone else having this issue. At least if they have, its not been reported yet. Is there anything specific that you are doing when it happens?

Not that i can think of. Once in a while it just turns off and the only way i can turn it back on is by holding down Power and the Vol. up and down keys. Any ideas?

Thanks, i think you may be right. I think im going to switch to Arctic. I was reading some of the posts, and am i correct in assuming thats its just like this one but without the soft keys?

Yes kinda. Its way outdated though. I wasnt able to get to all the updating i wanted to get done this weekend. I will be updating it to 1.11 when i get the chance. If everything runs well it will be like this for awhile. Then i will get a nonsoft done and a Arctic update that will include DSGs theme
