Are we talking about Navigation or Maps?Maps works fine. Navigation takes forever.

GPS uses a combination of Internet access and satellite responses to establish a lock. If either option is less than optimal (as in rural area, or lack of cellular strength), you may not be able to establish a GPS lock. There are many apps that go through these "pre-lock" scans and create a cache file. I believe there's one called GPS Status & Toolbox in the Play store. Your phone must be rooted and has Busybox for this app. What it does is scan NTP time servers, determine GPS coordinates, then write back a cache file for your other navigational apps. From then on, it takes a second to lock your GPS. Try that!

in the XDA thread on the Google Now to ICS port, this has been discussed a lot and no solution has been found.
there are some Apps that worked to do this, but none work on ICS. Google really borked BT in ICS. there have been bug fix requests to Google, but they won't acknowledge the issue or give any indication that any fix is being worked on.

You are complaining about 2% per hour? I lose 2% in 10 minutes. I would love 2% per hour.I m experiencing something odd in this rom, the first day I installed it the battery life was great, after the first cycle the battery is garbage, its consuming 2% a hour. So my question is why am I getting worse battery life as the room settles more?

I'd give it a few days, then make your decision.Everyone uses their phone in many different ways, I used it at work only in my breaks and i dont use it a lot at home, so i consider myself a moderate user, I used to be in the latest FLICK ROM and it would usually last me 2 days with 2 or soemtimes 3 hours of screen time, i love this ROM, is great , i would like to find out if my crappy battery life is because of the ROM or my device.

You probably couldn't pull any cell signal. When you get that message, pull down the notification bar and likely it said 'No service'. Not uncommon, keep hitting OK at the error prompt, and proceed with initial set-up. After a reboot, the error will go away.
