I was having the same issue in Arctic HD (Im still on Arctic HD)- I extracted the welcomewebtop.apk from simplex rom - and replace with the one in Arctic HD (system/app) one and set the permission and hit install - booted to ss recovery wipe cache and dalvik - reboot - not sure what it did but it seem to do the trick on my rzr. see if it would work for yours

going to try that today... Don't suppose you have a link to the exact same apk you used? If not I take it you used the most current simple x ROM, and pulled it from there?

Kebob, love the rom. As you make some of the changes, can you look at adding the black on white email app? Not a big deal - just with old eyes it is a bit easier to see.

Love the ROM. I thought I didn't like the soft keys before but they are growing on me. Kinda like them a lot now. Very responsive. Does anyone know when we will get an updated Google Now? The one that will do movies and other sports as well? Would work with football season in full swing now. Great jobs guys!

No I don't.. And yes from the current one... I had a copy of the simplex rom zip on my SD card so i used that one.

Just flashed this last night. Looking good so far. I know on the Artic HD Rom the NFL MObile app was giving some trouble, on this rom I have had a couple FC's but overall it works might still be worth to do the workaround. Running very smooth and it does actually look nicer dont know if its just my eyes though. Just one thing, will the Beats package work on this ROM or is it something that you guys plan on integrating within the next updates?

Tried it earlier this evening, was a no-go for me. I'm pretty sure at least one requirement is Verizon Login, as I disabled / froze that when installing avast! Anti-Theft on a previous ROM since it complained about the SMS Priority that Verizon Login. Next time I tried NFL Mobile I got symptoms similar to what I got tonight (Error: Services are temporarily unavailable ... Error Code -303), and once I made the connection between that and Verizon Login and unfroze / re-enabled it, NFL Mobile started working again. Thing is, this ROM provides Verizon Login and it is not disabled, so it must be missing something else.

does in fact work. I didn't use the VerizonSSOEngine.apk at the Dropbox URL, I grabbed mine from the 6.16.215 deodexed base, but the net result was the same. Both My Verizon Mobile and NFL Mobile now work.

Not sure if anyone else is having data issues but kebob said post here if we did so I am. For some reason it keeps dropping data. I restarted after first boot as suggested. I didn't notice these issues before when running arctic. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

If you need any other info from me to help try and resolve this please let me know.

I love the ROM, but I want to say, I don't generally notice much diference in ROMs when it comes to battery life as my Razr is plugged in most of the time. However, after first ArcticHD and then flashing to this, that the battery life seems to be negativly affected, at least on my OG Razr. I do leave my razr plugged in most of the time, but when its not, I notice much quicker drain on this. I can't quantify it other than to say I hardly ever notice the battery in this thing, and with this ROM I do. heh

Sorry for not being more specific. Just thought I would throw that out there.

No worries, i pulled the apk from Flick Rom latest edition, happpened to have it on my sdcard. Fixed the problem for me too. Thanks for the help.

i thought battery drain seemed better at least to Arctic non-HD which I had before

it's been less than a day for me so will need to go through a few cycles to be sure.

edit: and i'm really liking the soft-keys, especially after removing the hardware keys (and Verizon logo) with the "black electrical tape mod"

this Google Now will do Football. you just can't manually add teams. search a few time for your team and eventually Google Now will add it.

If anyone knows of a mod that will get rid of the percentage battery and replace it with the stock battery icon lmk! I'll flash this rom again in a heartbeat, but ocd > two battery indicators lol

I still keep losing boot up sound and now the circle widget says "problem loading widget" I'm using nonsoft key fix.

this appears to be a function of the GN version ported to ICS.

with the current JB version, you get a football icon. if another card pops up soon, i'll post a screen shot.
