I ran this for a couple days before you guys released it but I'm not sure I "get it". It's basically stock blur razr app with optional soft keys and working widgets. But what else is really different? I'm not too clear

Does this ROM have the problems with google apps not being able to update like the previous Artic ROM had? I really liked the previous Artic ROM but that one thing was a problem. I did the optional separate gapps install that was made available but those gapps wouldn't update either. Anyways, just thought I give it an ask. BTW, the ROM looks great.

Anyone else having this problem:

I go into the apps/widgets button to find a widget I want to add to my home screen. I find the widget under widgets and press and hold. It then takes me to the home screen where I lift my finger to drop the widget. But insted of dropping the widget there it then brings up a "Choose Widget" menu of all my widgets, I have to again select the widget I want to drop on the home screen....

odd.

Your comment scared me because my phone was in the middle of updating my apps and Maps was one of them. Luckily all the apps updated correctly, so looks like this ROM doesn't have that issue...

Me too. Additionally, some widgets don't show up in the menu, although that might be a problem with the widgets themselves (Sisedi media toggle widgets). [Looked into it and this seems to be a problem with these toggle widgets.]

Otherwise working great.

I know nothing about developing besides using these masterpieces but how difficult would it be to integrate a window pane task manager seen in the htc incredible 4g. I like the larger view of the open apps and the flicking away of the apps as opposed to swipe away. That would be a feature i would love to see on my razr

I don't know, that's kind of personal preference. I know AOKP has the option to change to the Sense version, so you can try an AOKP ROM. But I find that for this aesthetic, the standard multitasking manager looks and feels right.

I might just be an unlucky dude. But Is anyone else having HBO/Max-go issues I cant get them to not fc after they start playback. Sometimes I get a bizarre message about too many streams in use currently which is not the case since I just have the phone and Xbox hooked up. Any insight would be really helpful. Otherwise this is a great solid ROM and I'm very happy with all the developers hard work

For the people that noticed the widget problem there is a reason it is like that. Matt told me it involves a problem where if it wasn't done this way you end up with white text on a white background for the widget menu.

They can correct me if I'm wrong but i think it is to give you an experience similar to what will be running on the droid hd phone when it comes out.

I didn't know anyone still used the old style widget menu, hehe. I can still get my widgets where they need to be, just thought it was odd and would report it if it was a bug... :)

Awesome work! Do you think the older Arctic 1% battery mod (icon with percentage inside, no toggles) work with this?
