Do you have more another launcher installed? That app will let you see all the available launchers then set the one you want as default.

I got the circles to install on home page, what I have no idea how to do yet is create app shortcuts on the desktop, and into the taskbar.

I'm assuming I can load four into the taskbar *(2 on either side of the app drawer opening button)?

The more I think about it, probably defeats the whole purpose of your brilliant, lean ROM if I add bloatware like Go Launcher EX, agreed?

Your fine to use Apex or Go. Adding an additional launcher will not give you too much bloat or slow down. Just be aware you cannot use the Circle widget with 3rd party launchers.

You can add apps to the dock by opening the app drawer and long pressing the icon you want. That will bring it to the home screen where you can pull it into the dock.

Do any of you guys have problems with Data, I wiped everything, and I formatted system prior to install. Getting data on the first boot took the phone almost 45 minutes and it dropped this morning as soon as I got into the office. I'm going to try the Motorola tool for data.... any other ideas?

Did you reboot after first start up?

I decided to kill off Go Launcher and restore back to your stock, it just works faster!

BUT, somehow the old theme wallpaper did not "go away", and I want to get your beautiful home wallpaper back, which I don't see in the wallpapers gallery!

Has anyone seen problems with Google contacts? All of my contacts are stored on my *second* gmail account (not my primary for the phone). Most of my contacts show up in the list, but some do not. My wife in particular is the big issue.

She shows up in contact searches via the Google Apps "Directory" for the apps account, but she isn't in the actual contacts list and doesn't show up in favorites. I have seen this issue on several roms, and its a deal breaker that I really want to get figured out.

The contact list works flawlessly in stock. I'm running out of ideas and ready to ditch stock if I can resolve this issue.

In case any of you wonder - this issue appears to be related to Android auto-merging of contacts (as described here:

). I located several contacts (including my wife's) that were automatically merged with other contacts, and after separating them, things are better.

I'm guessing that whatever base Artic HD (and other rom's I've tried) uses must have a bug in the auto-contact-merge functionality, since this isn't a problem with my stock ics.

Randomly I have seen the contacts that I separate merge back together and I've not been able to find any part of any of the contacts that is the same which would cause the auto-merge to occur.

So at least I've figured out *why* the contacts are missing, and manual separation appears to fix it until they auto-merge again. Just have to figure out why the auto-merge is detecting them as duplicates and joining them together.

I would be interested to know if anyone has ever seen this before, or if any of you have any thoughts as to the cause.

Anyone had any luck installing the new google play store in this ROM? I tried installing 3.10.9 by first uninstalling the old version (3.5.19) but once installed, it won't load. It continuously gives me an error that the Play store has stopped working and closes.

If you use titanium backup, you can go in and change it to a user app.... it should work right then .... thats what i did and it wont hurt to boot into SS and wipe cache and dalvik-cache as well...

That worked. I had to uninstall 3.5.19, install 3.10.9 and then change it back to a system app for it not to crash on me.

This has been a great app. However, one very annoying thing: Apollo player will only play one song at a time. To play music, I have to hit fast forward as each song ends. It would seem to me that I should be able to adjust one setting to fix this. Anyone have any ideas?

My opinion.... I uninstalled Apollo ... I use Google Play Music....

Just installed Artic Hd and had no problems on the install. Starting to set up my phone and when I tried to change my ringtone I got the following, "Unfortunately, the process com.android.contacts has stopped". Any help is appreciated.

Maybe try wiping cache.... dalvik cache (in SS) ..... if that don't work maybe try reflashing the rom....
