You need to use a root file manager/explorer then it can be mounted as r/w (read/write) before you can edit, delete, or rename the file......Hey Guys Sorry To Bother... I'm Tryin To Learn All This Stuff... In A Post in here about overclocking it stated to delete the 99test file and reboot... I've tried deleting it and it won't delete and I've tried editing it and it wont edit... any special apps or programs i need to do this kinda stuff?? Any Input Would Be Greatly Appreciated!! Thanks Guys!!
I use root explorer... you can get it here...
I recommend either renaming to 99test.bak or copy it somewhere first instead of deleting it..... just in case...

Would anybody possibly have that 99test file to replace my deleted file?? :-/

Calendar.apk is built into this rom so I am sure that it is what is giving you problems. If you want to download and install the Google calendar from the play store instead, you may want to use TB or Rom Toolbox to uninstall the built in calendar app first. It is in the system/app folder by the way.
That would work in theory, but it doesn't. I'm having the same problem. I've uninstalled all calendar-related apk's, wiped cache, rebooted tried installing the new google calendar.apk, and it's still the same error. Have no idea why. >

i guess development has died on this rom..... i wounder what the devs are cooking up??
I know how you feel...some core features could go for "official" updates through an OTA, since they have the ability for OTA's. They should utilize that.

Did you wipe (all the usual places) prior to flashing? So I just flashed the rom and I keep getting the message "com.android.phone has stopped" every five seconds. Any fix for this?

I got that the first time around... but after doing a complete wipe of everything... reinstalling... and two good reboots, everything is status quo.So I just flashed the rom and I keep getting the message "com.android.phone has stopped" every five seconds. Any fix for this?
I just hope the developers haven't kicked this great rom to the curb. Like I stated before, would be great to get a blood red or orange theme.

Did you have data issues the first go around? Data never comes up for me and the radio keeps cycling on and off.I got that the first time around... but after doing a complete wipe of everything... reinstalling... and two good reboots, everything is status quo.

Safestrap 3 makes it a little ambiguous as to what to wipe, but I did wipe system and factory reset before flashing the rom.Did you wipe (all the usual places) prior to flashing?

masterfisto, just follow the dev's instructions in the OP, a lot of the time you need to wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik & format System
It actually doesn't matter which version of recovery app you use…
SS3 does take getting used to, but its very worth the effort.
There is a Wipe button which gives you all 4 options… check it out.
You should probably use SS3 to back up the Data & reinstall the rom w/all required wipes; just go to 1st page for instructions in the OP of all roms… Good luck!

I do not see it being sent in GOSMS, nor is the person I sent it to, getting it. Of course, I'm in this ROM etc.
Any thoughts?

Has anyone found a workaround to this? Seems like it's not working for several people, including myself. Would love to be able to install Google Calendar. Thanks! That was a good idea, but it didn't work - at least not for me. I used TB to uninstall both Calendar and Calendar Storage, still got the same error when installing Google Calendar.
