is it supposed to sync via bluetooth or via usb...... mine syncs to my bluetooth CB radio perfectly....the only issue I've had with this ROM so far is that it won't sync my contact list with the headunit in my truck. past that, it's awesome.

yes.. i think power amp is a lot better than apolloApollo just does not want to work with my bluetooth car media. How do I replace it with Google Music? I uninstalled Apollo but it does not auto launch G.Music like it would for Apollo.
Any thoughts?

I have a similar question. How do I replace the default music app from coming up for when I connect to play "Bluetooth Audio" through Sync in my Lincoln MKZ from being the plain "Music" app and have it load into "Google Play" instead?

Gotcha, but lol! How do I go about replacing it. And sorry if I didn't understand what was written prior to my post if the answer laid within those posts? Can you better detail to me. I checked and of course I have both Apollo and Play Music (google) on my phone right now but everytime I start my car and say "Bluetooth Audio", it starts jamming to songs through Apolla on my SDCard and I would rather it go to "Google Play Music"
Edit: Ok, maybe I figured it out on my own. Time will tell when I get to my car.
- I froze the Apolla app with TIBU
- Downloaded your google play .zip and moved it to /system/app
We shall see.

oh ok.... . The simple answer is go into manage apps go to all... ..find apollo.... select it.... hit clear cache then clear data.... then uninstall (if its available) or uninstall updates..... then you should be able to disable it..... try that....Gotcha, but lol! It is no more in my "Manage Apps - All" section so makes sense since I froze it with TIBU so time will tell when I get off work if it works this way now or not making "Google Play" the default for BT connect audio. Hrmmm

First I want to thank all devs and contributors for a fine ROM here.
I came across an annoyance however. I dug out my Bluetooth earpiece and upon pressing the button I get the (new?) "Voice Dialer" by Google which I've never seen before. It has yet to come even close to recognizing my commands. Is there a way to remove it or clear defaults or whatever so that when I press the button on my earpiece it uses "Voice Commands" instead? Voice Commands is near perfect for me.
Thanks!Change the Google Search to a user app instead of system app. I did it with Titanium Backup by longpress then select to convert. Also make sure you have voice commands installed. If I remember correctly, I think I installed it from a backup with Titanium also.
Nice, thank you for the info. Just in case anyone is wondering the apk is called Velvet.apk.

The Battery is fine because in Stock GB with crap apps removed, it was magnificient. Also from what I read in the forum a lot of folks post great battery life. I think it is a little unfair because some folks are on Droid RAZR and other on MAXX... MAXX definitely has an edge... almost 2 times...
Keeping the stock clocking speeds and disabling Google Now gave me around 16-18 hours of battery life on my OG RAZR when I was on Arctic HD. I think that's pretty respectable. I had auto brightness on and disabled some of the apps I don't need using TiBu. Give the ROM a few days to settle in and you will definitely see better battery life unless you have a rouge app that is using resources.
I've been trying others like the JB ROMs and Flick but I really miss Arctic's battery life and overall smooth functionality. I'll definitely back on this once the update is out.
