For anyone having GPS issues, here is a gps.conf file I found a while ago. Don't remember where I got it, but have used our on every rom I've been on. Gives GPS lock in about 5 seconds. You should install the free GPS status app and download the gps assist data 1st.
Here's the link to the file.

Enjoy.

That happens to be the exact same file that is in the Flick rom.

Completely re installed the rom and did the GPS fix again and still no go for me. It takes about 5 minutes to come up with my actual address even after redoing everything. Oh well...

This is just referring to getting a lock when setting at my house so I will run this file and see if it makes a different when driving around.

It is, we both got it from XDA.

That sound right. I've used it since my DroidX days, so couldn't remember where I found it.

Thanks!

One question, though - it's giving me an 'application not installed' error when i try to click the apk from where it downloaded to. I have 'unknown sources' enabled.

Does the file need to be placed in a specific spot before it's run? What am i missing?

Thanks again!

You have push the apk into system/app & set permissions to rw-r-r, then reboot & it should show up in your app drawer.

Is there a way to get the motocast to work? Mine keeps freezing and won't load. It's literally the only Motorola app I've ever used lol.

I thought my GPS connection speed was normal. Compared to what it is now, it was pretty slow. Thanks man.

Hi guys, I use a Huntington Bank app quite often to check my account. Now after my install of Arctic HD, I can't seem to get Huntington to work. Any suggestions?

And can please someone tell me why I cannot update any of Google apps, like maps and chrome...

I wondered the same thing. So then I downloaded TiBU, uninstalled whatever you wanted to update that wasn't signed correctly. Reboot your phone, and re-download your apps via play store. Worked for me, Could work for you!

You made sure to set the permissions to match the original file right?

I set it, use the gps status app to delete and re download AGPS data, then rebooted. I didn't see any difference until I did those last two steps, then BAM!
