Great rom!!!! GREAT WORK matt and kebob (and of course everyone else involved in making this)....... i successfully flashed last night....in the op it said it can take upwards of 10 min for the initial boot, my total time from booting into safestrap to completion of 2nd reboot.....7 min and 22 seconds(yes i timed it) only because i heard some people having some issues and it taking way too long to boot...:-).....anyway i have not seen any issues yet..... will post if anything negative happens to surface.... thanks again

I've been running this with almost no issues, say for a couple things here and there that have already been noted on several posts. Looking good though!

Any news for when Arctic HD will recieve the 1.1 update the softkey version of Droid HD has gotten? :P

they are different roms and different builds. Updates for droidhd do NOT apply to arctichd.

arctic doesnt have softkeys and i doubt it ever will.... if you want them flash droidhd ;)

I was under the impression that Droid_HD (nonsoft key version) v1.02_Fixed was the same rom, but with the softkeys removed and the hardkeys enabled. And that Artic_HD is similar, but separate. I could be mistaken, but I know I've seen posts suggesting that somewhere.

Anyway, I do like the non-soft key version much better. Call me picky, but I can't put up with having non-working buttons, and on screen buttons replacing them. :)

Haven't seen this mentioned...

Been running this for several days on VZW. Cannot find visual voicemail in order for me to install it? Anyone know where to find it/what to do?

Some swear by google voice for visual voicemail management as its free and possibly superior to the VZW standard app - but, I haven't used it. Some insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thank You..the "No On Screen" softkeys is why I chose the Arctic HD ROM..I love the physical soft keys..PLEASE DEV. always keep them an option, wether combined in one ROM or two separate ROM's..always give us/me that option..

Can you please add smart actions to this ROM with am option to turn off cell data? I need it so I can still receive calls and texts. The market version doesn't have it. If you can't add it, could someone please post or link me to a zip file smart actions with that option? Thanks ;)

you can't just go into settings/data usage and toggle data there? i guess if you want it done automatically then you'll need smart actions but if you're just looking for a way to turn it off....there's your switch...

Yeah I do want to do it automatically because when I'm in school I like to turn off cell data to save battery but still be able to receive texts and calls. Its just easier cuz it will turn off cell data during the school timeframe.

Please keep me posted cuz I need that dearly :)

I have been running this rom since it came out and overall it has been pretty good. I didn't notice any issues with GPS at first but the last two days, it has been very slow to lock and was WAY off when using navigation for the first few minutes. Several people have been talking about the slow GPS lock lately.

Have you tried Llama, works better than smart actions IMO and it's free in the Play Store. You can set it up for time frames or location to toggle data and so much more.

just loaded it with no problems. my wife wasn't amused with the boot jingle, 'cause it played for like 5 minutes during first boot-up. anyway to reduce the volume on it?

oh... and will the blue keyboard from the first Arctic work with this one?
