Last i read wiping battery stats or any battery calibration does absolutely no good.

It does 'some' good. It resets the batt statistics file, thus provides a more accurate calculation of the battery's time to depletion. However, unlike some believe, it does absolutely nothing to increase or extend the battery's usage. To actually condition a battery, it needs to be fully charged from near empty three or four times.

Using the CPU control that is in the ROM it won't hold my settings. It keeps dropping too 300 even though I have it set at 600. Attaching what it's recording for use and what I have as settings. I had this same issue on Arctic using SetCPU also.

try the clock sync app. Found that the towers locally were off by about twenty seconds vs the atomic clock. Once synced GPS locked in seconds

Time, do you happen to force cell to 3g vs native 4g? I noticed GPS seems unstable with 3g mode and quick w 4g

I've been running this rom for a little more than a week now. The rom is great, I've only had some issues the past 3 days. I fully charge my phone right before I go to bed. And for the past two days, I checked my phone in the morning and my battery was down to 62% the first day , 58% the second day and when I woke up this morning it was at 67%. That is 7-8 hrs of not touching my phone while I sleep. Normally it stayed in the 90% range when I slept and checked it in the morning. Google now is turned off, and everything else has stayed the same since I installed the rom. I did notice that the android o/s has been eating up 32% of my battery while I sleep. I've also tried different governors and schedulers that I've seen posted here and nothing has changed. Anyone else going through this or have any advice that I can use to fix this?

Do you have your data and wifi on over night? Ive been using Juice defender for a while, for my purposes it has significantly improved battery life. Data is off unless i need it as is gps. Wifi is off when screen is off. Very little drain over night even right after i flashed arctic HD.
Before Arctic Hd i was getting at least 15 to 18 hours between charges. Usually i plug in at 40%. I dont ont need to use a lot of data, wifi at home and work. But even whenbi do i usually use 3g unless i am looking at video

What are you using to Reboot? If using a widget or some other app, those don't normally reboot the device correctly. So you'll need to turn off power normally and restart in order for it to stick.

Battery

There is no need to add another script to init.d to overclock. The "90modules" script in init.d already does this. The problem is the "99test" script (also in init.d) runs later in the boot sequence and resets the cpu frequency table back to stock specs.

The "99test" script does nothing but write the word "done" to a temp file. It is used as a test to make sure init.d is working properly on initial setup. For whatever reason, the Devs decided to use this script to reset the freq table back to stock. Long story short, If you want to overclock you can simply edit or delete /etc/init.d/99test . If you choose to edit the file, keep the first and last two lines of the script and delete everything else. Save and reboot. This will set the set the frequency table to 300MHz, 500MHz, 750MHz, 1000MHz and 1350MHz.

The only caveat is that not everyone's device responds well to being overclocked to 1350 MHz. You may also have to edit the "90modules" script and change the line "echo 4 1350 1410 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu" to something like "echo 4 1325 1405 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu", or "echo 4 1300 1400 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu".

HTH

I deleted the 99test file and then rebooted, but the GHz values in the CPU control section of settings are still stock. (300, 600, 800, 1000, 1200). I used to have Juicedefender Beta controlling my CPU, but disabled it's cpu control function prior to doing this. Did I do something wrong, or is there any other way to over clock, for example setcpu?

I do have wifi turned off. The my data has been on until that second and third day that I was having battery issues I turned data off. It still didn't make a difference. My GPS is also off. I plug my phone when it gets to 4%. I tried CPU spy and it shows that my phone is in deep sleep for 51% of the time and its on 300mhz for 36%. Doesn't really explain the reason for my battery drain Haha.

That's odd. You are on the Arctic HD rom, correct? This method will only work for Arctic HD (and maybe Droid hd).

Are you sure the 99test script is gone from init.d? What's files are left in /etc/init.d? Sounds like something else is re-setting the cpu clock profile. Are you running any other scripts with rom toolbox or script manager?

You can try putting this file back in init.d. Save the file without a file extension (save as 99test, NOT 99test.txt) Set permissions and reboot:

Yes, I am on Arctic HD and I am not running any other scripts. Before adding that 99test file you just sent me, I had 90modules and 91zipalign. After adding the 99test file, however, a new 99test.bak file appeared, but it appears to be blank. Just to clarify, what permissions should I set for the 99test file? The 90modules file is rw-rw-rw and the 91zipalign is rwx-rwx-rwx. Thanks.

If you are trying to overclock/underclock then edit the 99test appropriately. At least that's my $0.02. The cpu control should allow for this but for some reason its not.

Yeah, I changed the echo 4 line in 99test to 1350 and 1410, but it didn't change anything. Weird.

UPDATE: Stupid me, I changed the 90module permissions to rwx-rwx-rwx and it worked. Now going to see how stable this is on 1350 GHz.

So... Any idea on how to update chrome?
Tried uninstalling with titanium and installing from market but then it says incompatible update.

I don't see why apps are included if we can't update them.
