The link for the ROM is not working

Do a Google search for play store 3.8.17 apk. Several sites have it for download. Then just delete phonesky.apk from system/app and replace it with the new version. Just make sure you name it correctly and set permissions.

anyone still having problems with My Verizon Mobile? I tried the following and it still doesn't work:
1. In Manage Apps: Clear cache, Clear data
2. Uninstall
3. Reboot phone
4. Install My Verizon from Play Store

Gives me the following error everytime when trying to authenticate:
Services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later or call customer care for assistance. Error Code -300

Thanks in advance for any help.


Update: I got it to work. I had to add a widget first then click on the widget. If trying to open the My Verizon app, it won't work.

I went back to my non-safe side and went into NFL Mobile i got the same pop up connection error please call customer service Yada Yada Yada. But this time it gave me the option to retry instead of just CLOSEing. i click retry and i sign in and NFL Mobile and My Verizon are now working on stock rom though. Hell its Sunday Bears are playing in less than an hour ill run stock for a day!! lol

The Google Play Store doesn't seem to want to update to its latest version. Mind is stuck at 3.5.19. Is anyone else getting this problem or know of a fix?

Here is a link to an inverted 3.8.17 play store app that is themed blue so it goes with this rom nicely.

I extracted the apk and moved it to the system/app folder manually so here is what I did exactly and had no problems.

1) Clear cache on the play store before starting.
2) Extract the Phonesky.apk from the zip file and put it on your sd card.
3) Use a file explorer and go into the system/app folder and rename Phonesky.apk to Phonesky.bak
4) Copy the Phonesky.apk from your sd card to the system/app folder
5) Change permissions to rw-r--r--
6) Reboot phone and have fun!

Other methods may work just as good but this is what I did and have no problems.

As far as I know, it is 3.8.17 which is what I posted the link for. Maybe you saw the .17 and thought your .19 was newer but the .8 in front of the .17 makes a difference.

Just updated last night. Seems to be going good so far. The last build was lagging a bit. Seems a lot smoother now.

Edit: I just noticed when I made a call I went from 3 bars blue 3g to 2 white bars no 3g. Is that normal?

Yes that is normal even in stock it does that.

Yeah because you can't use mobile data while talking on the phone at the same time. The stock rom does this to. If you are in a 4G area however you will be able to put your phone on speaker and browse the internet over mobile web, but you cannot with 3G coverage.

This ROM is amazing. Here are some screen shots of my inverted apps as well as the black widow boot logo which works great and the eclipse bootanimation which works great as well while running this ROM. Again great job everyone who worked on this. I have had zero issues so far.

I got the ROM installed last night and got the Swype fix this morning, loving the hell out of this ROM, big thanks to mattlgroff and Kebob for their work on the ROM and to superrelaxx for the Swype fix. Looking forward to anymore work you do!
