Hey, good rom so far. I went to restore with titanium backup and it says that i had a new ID number. I restored my old one and everything seems to be fine, should i be concerned?

I've been on it all day and it's been good for me. I'm at 35% with 2h8m screen time and 11hours on-time.
I did a good amount of web browsing, 30mins of Slacker, updating apps, few reboots messing with boot animation, did the update from .01 to .10, 20 mins of phone calls and a dew minutes of games.
Can't say if .10 fixed any battery issue since I only had .01 for a day and a half.

Loving the rom, but I'm in a rural area and it my radio switched hprd13. Couldn't get it to 3g so switched to safe side.

People said to go on this one area when you get stuck in gsm up here and it'll switch back, never worked. Just stuck there.

Benn running this rom for several days. Ota update came today and it worked like a charm.i certainly think it helped with battery life. I noticed that cpu sleeper was added back and im presuming that's helping the battery. I noticed since the update my phone has been running significantly cooler as well. The Arctic HD running chill :-)

This ROM is great. Smooth, very good battery life. Gmail and Maps working fine with login. I did the update without any issues as least for what I use at the moment. Great work guys!

I dont have that issue on my verizon razr. Try factory reset. Maybe download phone info app and change it there to cdma/lte.

question i got google maps to finally sign in then i went to goole now and it took me through the tutorial but now when i try to open it or even click in the google search bar it just unfortunately google search has stopped\

fixed it here is what i did i went settings/applicaion/all apps

go to google search, force stop,clear data

give it 5-10 sec to refresh..
when google now is working again and you go through the tutorial, click next, next, and NOT NOW. (do not click ok,got it).
This should solve the issue worked for me hope it will work for you if u get the same problem

For anyone who wants to install stock swype (I don't like the swype beta)...

I redirected this link from another post (BTW, Thanks superrelaxx!) Download the files from the link and then follow these instructions. (these are the same instructions provided in the link.)


Restoring Swype:
Using Root Explorer (or equivalent):
1. Mount file system as R/W
2. Copy and change permissions to -rw-r--r-- \system\app\Swype.apk
3. Copy and change permissions to -rw-r--r-- \data\dalvik-cache\system@app@Swype.apk@classes.dex
4. Copy and change permissions to -rw-r--r-- \system\lib\libSwypeCore.so
5. Reboot
6. Go to Settings/Language & input and pick the settings icon to the right of Swype.
7. Select Input Method and change to Swype

I have already done it and it worked for me.

anyone still having problems with My Verizon Mobile? I tried the following and it still doesn't work:
1. In Manage Apps: Clear cache, Clear data
2. Uninstall
3. Reboot phone
4. Install My Verizon from Play Store

Gives me the following error everytime when trying to authenticate:
Services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later or call customer care for assistance. Error Code -300

Thanks in advance for any help.


Update: I got it to work. I had to add a widget first then click on the widget. If trying to open the My Verizon app, it won't work.

Here is what i was thinking? Google Maps needs to be a system app to run right? So i moved Maps from the data folder into the system/app folder permissions were already set to rw-r-r and simply rebooted. Maps is now working perfectly no log in failed all my stared locations came up signed into Latitude. working flawless now.

i noticed there is no VVM or Car Dock .apk with this rom.

Hey guys, loving this Rom so far. Its super smooth and battery life is not as bad as people let on. One idea/question for you though. I was able to play with a RAZR Micro a couple days ago and when you went all the way to the left it had a full screen of toggles. BT, WiFi, everything. And then your home screen was the 2 nd screen. Any way we will see that in a future update because it was really slick.

The Google Play Store doesn't seem to want to update to its latest version. Mind is stuck at 3.5.19. Is anyone else getting this problem or know of a fix?

Do a Google search for play store 3.8.17 apk. Several sites have it for download. Then just delete phonesky.apk from system/app and replace it with the new version. Just make sure you name it correctly and set permissions.
