not holding my breath that bionic will fall in this one... though.. id drop a brick if they bypassed iCS and gave us JB hahaah

looks like they intend to update the bionic to jelly bean. this site says all devices released in 2011 and later.

Don't they need to get ICS officially pushed out first? Puttin the carriage before the horse again, good old Moto up to their old tricks.
Let's not all hold our breath for jelly bean company wide. That's about as funny as a bootloader unlock later this year (circa 2011).

Agreed, are they planning on jumping some devices from GB straight to JB? That would be interesting....

Skipping ICS and going straight to JB would, IMO, be a major plus for BIONIC users. however, I don't see that happening.
I do think that we're gonna get another fix or two. Currently, for example, even if the phone is in vibrate only mode, if you take a screenshot, it plays the screenshot noise, and that's *ALSO* if you have the camera shutter noise disabled. This has been constant through all ICS leaks.

well i would think that maybe skipping ics would me a fresh start ( isnt that what JB is?) and wouldt build on previous versions at all.. leaving behind thier quirks. just thinkin on text

ICS is the fresh start. JB is a much more minor upgrade to ICS than ICS to GB.

I hope they upgrade it to JB if not I am not sure what i will do as far as a new phone. We will see more in the coming weeks with all these press conferences coming up by the other handset makers.
