I've done everything correctly. I even referred to the sticky just to be sure I was doing it right.

This should be flashed like a rom, but do NOT wipe data.

Do you mind if I edit the colors of the Ribbons animation for my personal use. I will not upload to any site for others to flash.

You can link me to the image files and I can repack them so they will flash.... Or
We can work thru the process of a boot assembly... Or
I can recolor and put up a copy for everyone.
What is the plan?

process of boot assembly? That way I don't need to bother you anymore. I'm still gonna send you the link so you can pack them and put up for everyone to enjoy. You have a couple of options:
You can link me to the image files and I can repack them so they will flash.... Or
We can work thru the process of a boot assembly... Or
I can recolor and put up a copy for everyone.

Building the boot animation files..
Making self installing zips..
These are assembled for the Galaxy Nexus - the Razr is similar but resolution of the images must be 540x960.
Wow - that recolor caused the image sizes to go way up - I will color change the source and get a copy out..

Lol yea...I think I saved them on the highest setting in Photoshop. 23mb vs your 8:D

How do you make the colors so sharp?

I use After Effects in conjunction with some plugins with Particle Illusion.
Lots of trial and error.

Are you flashing this like you would a rom or using a root explorer to move it to system/media?
This should be flashed like a rom, but do NOT wipe data.
Wait, what? I've always moved them into system/media.
Edit: Flashed it and it worked. Very nice thank you

Not the X, gah. Hard to explain which one lol, I've seen it around but it wasn't for the RAZR, sadly .
Nice job on these animations.
