I didn't get the bionic until a few months ago when it dropped to free, so I missed out on the initial round of webtop hacking on gingerbread.
The neat thing about gingerbread webtop vs ics webtop is that you can unlock a full ubuntu environment instead of just tablet mode.
My issue is that on gingerbread, I can't get the bionic screen to show the touch pad. I've tried the official webtop adapter as well as nebtop apk. After researching, I found that others have had the same issue even with lapdock and docking station.
I read and tried a solution that mentioned to turn off automatic date / time sync and reboot. this worked one time but didn't survive a second reboot.
Anyone know how to get the webtop touch pad to work consistently?
