I should have no issues using a Samsung charging pad ? My instinct is telling me im good, just feel the need to double check.

I believe as long as it is Qi, brand doesn't matter much. Just some work better than others.

I picked up a couple of Lerway Wireless Qi and they work great.
Pixel 2 XL, Pixel XL, Nexus 6, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Samsung GS3, Bionic, OG Droid, SCH-i760, a flip phone or two, and a few others.
