JP, if you continue working on this one, are you going to keep building off the kexec kernel, or are you going to build off of 98.72.22 going forward?

Oh man I think I have jacked up my bionic.  I flashed JB update on the unsafe side went back to ss side and then accidentally deleted my stock slot so now I can't uninstall ss to do a factory restore. I tried to restore my 4.0 backup but it makes the bionic boot up sound and that's it.  Anyone have any help?

Thanks,

Marty

I made an equally goofy mistake over the weekend. Flashed the 2.5 version of this ROM in slot 1 And completely forgot that it was based on the ICS bionic build. I could get back to my slot 2 ROM, but my stock slot wouldn't boot. Long story short I used hob to save the day. If you restored an ICS nandroid backup in your stock slot you may not be able to use the keep data option, but you'll have a working phone again. And you will lose root.

Umm, unless I'm misreading this, if you're on the JB OTA, DONT try and flash the ICS or restore a nandroid of the same. That will put you in the hurt locker due to the security changes that came with JB.

I know, that's what screwed me up. I flashed an earlier version of the speed lite rom, which was based on the .246 build, into slot 1. Idiotic mistake that borked my stock slot as well as slot 1 (slot 2 is kexec ROM and still worked). I was able to recover from it with Sam's utility without removing ss recovery first.
