I tried to install the 2.5.1. I wiped data and cache before hand. I just got a blank screen on my bionic and would not boot up.

I would reinstall and make sure there are no error messages during install.

Also, check the MD5 on your downloaded file.

Using safestrap 3.05?

Pick your ROM slot,
wipe system (format system),
install ROM,
factory reset(NOT format system!),
wipe dalvik cache,
reboot.

I wiped cache and dalvik multiple times(5) in a row after install to resolve any MMS issues.

Wait - why factory reset AFTER installing ROM?

I always:

Factory reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik cache
Wipe System
Install ROM
Reboot

I was able to install 2.5.1 with no issues.

I've installed a few camera apps and they all work except for the flash. Anyone else run into this? Any idea how to fix?

Thanks!

Flash works fine for me using Camera 360. Not sure what the issue could be.

After a quick browse through the posts since the 2.5.1 update I was unable to find info... Has anyone been having battery life issues? According to battery stats I am having a huge drain on the battery coming from the Android OS. I have tried wiping and factory reset, am I missing something?

Weird things happen to my battery when I make calls it drips super fast. Example just now I was at 35% talked for 3 mins now 19%. Anyone else see that?

Doing my first battery calibration/run down on this, and it seemed to skip right over the 20s while I was on a short phone call. Being my first battery cycle I'm hoping it was a fluke. Odd that it happened in the same place in the scale as yours did though.

Loving this rom for the most part, stilly playing and discovering all the AOKP goodness. One snag I ran into today was I tried to install the SwiftKey Flow Beta (I've used it on all the other roms I've tried) and it wouldn't let me complete the setup on it. Once I get to step 4, customize, pushing the step 4 button does nothing. Even wiped the cache and rebooted, same result. Anyone managed to get swiftkey flow beta going on this rom?

Posted before doing all my homework I guess. The APK i've been using apparently was for ICS. Went to SwiftKey's website and tried to re-download it. Same version number and all, but this time the apk loaded and I got through all the activation screens no problem. Just wanted to circle back if anyone else has this problem.

How odd. I installed the same apk for Flow Beta that I was running on ICS without any issues.

Actually caught the battery drain today. Dropped from 39 to 16 right before my eyes, after sending one text message. Screeny attached.

The long flat section is overnight with data/wifi off. She sleeps really well at least.

[SOLVED]~Okay so here's the deal with GSM:
The settings for 'world phone' are just one out of three things you need to do.
1: Flash the NV.zip that edits the GSM Chipset settings and thus turns it on.
2: download build.prop editor in the Google Play Store [free]
Replace the following values from what they are on your phone to what you see below.

ro.telephony.default_network
7

ro.mot.phonemode.vzw4gphone
0

telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice
0

3: Dial *#*#4636#*#* and select 'Phone Info' (or download LTE ON/OFF from the google play store)
Select "GSM ONLY" Mode at first, wait for the Data to turn on and you see an 'E'
After that shows up, go back in phone info, then select WCDMA Preferred and wait until 'G/3G/H' pops up
Once that is done, you are all set! Data/MMS/SMS/Voice should all be working.

Again, props to dev for making the ROM. It works great on the Bionic. And its my new Daily Driver.

When I edit telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice to 0, when I recieve a call the phone process forcecloses for me. How do I fix it? Thanks
