BEWARE: THE STOCK CAMERA APP DOES NOT WORK! You will have to go download one from the Play Store, almost all are known to work EXCEPT Camera ICS.


This is one of my favorite roms out, but I need to have a working video camera for those kodak moments with my little one. Does anyone know of an app that records video? I cannot seem to find one on the market, All I find is cameras apps or 1 click video app shortcuts that take you directly to stock video camera.

This is one of my favorite roms out, but I need to have a working video camera for those kodak moments with my little one. Does anyone know of an app that records video? I haven't tried it yet but I will tomorrow but camera jb+ might work. It's $1.99 in the play store. I can say this update rocks. Been running it for a day and have no complaints!

Good stuff JP! Thanks for sticking with this one. Only issue I had was I was still on safe strap 2.11, and I couldn't get it to flash. Worked without a problem when I jumped to safe strap 3.

Camera jb+ does not work, it crashes just like the stock camera

Camera zoom fx works, though...both camera and camcorder. That is also a paid app, though. I will try some free ones and see if i can get a camcorder to work because i am bored right now :D

EDIT: Zoom Camera from the play store has both working camera and camcorder, and its free. Now what am I gonna do for the rest of the day? :D

I was thinking that was a native issue to JB. I use either GoSMS or Handcent and mms works good.

Anyone else having the Google search problem here's a link to an apk that works. At least it worked for me.

Glad everyone is enjoying the update! If you guys want, I can put the fixed Google search and MMS apk's in and release a minor version tonight (2.5.1) I could also add anything quick that you might want.

I don't know how everyone else feels, but I went back to Nova launcher. I got used to it after the 2.0 release. Again, thanks for this, its a great ROM!
