I have unlimited but dont tether. I'll be downloading blank 1GB files all night, and no more Wifi for me. I could torrent some stuff too and fileshare :)

I'm doing this the hard way by not tethering :P my cycle ends on the 20th. Time to get crackin'

So here is my use to date, it seems to me that although the quality of my internet at home while using my phones tether, has been flawless. However, the amount of use seems to have slowed. You can be the judge:

That is actually my sons line and he only has a 75mb limit!
When I called to ask about it, Verizon said it was a glitch in their system.
Phew! I sure would hate to see the overage charges on that!!!

Guys this is so funny. I only have 150 MB a month cuz I don't use data hardly at all. Mainly wifi. IF I DID I WOULD CERTAINLY BE PUTTING THE SCREWS TO THEM. MY BILL WOULD JUMP $70/mo IF I CHANGED MY PLAN TO THE SCREW EVERYONE PLAN. KEEP IT UP. STICK IT TO THE MAN.

I think this is the most ridiculous colossal waste of time I've ever seen in my life. What do you all think will come of this? You have unlimited data in most cases and it seems to me that you want Verizon to notice you? Even if they do notice this tiny minority out of the millions of customers they serve, what do you honestly think will come of this? All this over locked bootloaders? I joined this forum, because I thought it was a bunch of mature people in here....guess I got that wrong.

Yet you show your maturity level by berating everyone else? If what you wrote is how you feel, why even comment? Please move along, we don't need instigators that just try to get a rise out of people. Thanks.

Yeah nice try bud. I'm not berating anyone, what the people who are involved in this fiasco are doing may be legal in an "Unlimited Data" stand point, but ethically wrong. Instigating a party of people to use more data than they normally would on a regular basis in an effort to obtain some level of personal satisfaction by 'sticking it to the man' bears no ethical rights. You all know exactly what you're getting when you sign up with a cell carrier. I don't agree with them locking the bootloaders either as I would love to have new radio's etc... but antagonizing this is WRONG! You are the kind of people that WILL mess things up for ALL the consumers with Verizon. Please don't be naive enough to think they CAN'T read these same posts and track them based on your usage. Again legally this may work as you may have an unlimited plan, but participating in this immature act of retaliation is childish at best. Most of us are grown men and women here and should live our lives that way and not be so petty. If you aren't happy with locked bootloaders, get a new device or new cell provider.
