I personally love Swype. It took me a good two weeks of swyping to get my dictionary set up and usable, and I occasionally have to add a few words that I would normally not have to add if I wasn't swyping across letters, but once you get used to it... Swype owns.

I came from a Blackberry mentality a couple years ago (3 BB's in a row), and I really wanted a physical Keyboard, so I got an Ally (decently priced and average features at the time)... I hated the keyboard on it, so I started using the soft keyboard. It was surprisingly easy for me. Therefore, when I changed it out for a Droid Charge (it got stolen later on) with Swype, then a T-Bolt (crap, from Asurion), then a Bionic through Asurion... I've stuck with Swype and can way outperform other people in my office both in accuracy and speed when it comes to typing anything on my phone. Granted, every single other person has an iPhone, so I naturally have an advantage to begin with... but still.

Been running this ROM for a couple hours with no issues...

I usually just wipe cache/dalvik before a new ROM - yeah yeah, I know I should wipe data too, but I'm sooooo lazy.

However, this time, I wiped data, installed the ROM, installed the pack, and it all came up perfectly. Some stuff I've noticed, and can duplicate if I really wanted to:

#4 LiquidBlur: Quadrant is 2526. CPU is 1.0GHz. Phone seems to run very smooth, and GPS locks quick.
#3 SpeedLite: Quadrant is 2521. CPU is 1.0 GHz. Phone was very smooth, and GPS lock was fair to good.
#2 RedHead Rebirth: Quadrant is 2859. CPU is 1.2 GHZ. Phone was smooth, but lagged a bit going in and out of Chrome. Didn't try GPS at all.
#1 BlackholeBionic: Quadrant is 2601. CPU is 1.0 GHz. Phone was smooth and stuff, but I didn't try much because I quickly started crackflashing more ROMS - see above.

This is interesting... My CPU was faster with RedHead. I thought it was just a fluke, so after SpeedLite, I flashed RedHead back to my phone and the CPU was again 1.2. I put SpeedLite back and it was down to 1.0 again. I then wiped completely, and flashed LiquidBlur - 1.0 GHz as well. Now, I don't mind 1.0... though the Quadrant looked nice on 1.2 as shown above. But... Chrome was choppy at times, and lagged upon launch as I mentioned also, whereas it's just normal delay on the other ROMs I've tested so far.

I don't have some scientific benchmarks... I'm just crackflashing today, and putting the phone through some basic nonsense. I thought I'd share some experiences with you folks, however... as that's what the forum is all about.

make sure before you flash, you manually Format System, Format Data and erase Davlik Cache. Format is just a extra step i take to make sure its a fresh install. And make sure u tap the search bar on home screen. And go through the setup like in my screenshot above

Everything looks great - good job! I just have a question: is the /system partition supposed to be full by default? I did a clean install, full wipe of everything, and the system partition is completely full - 308MB used. Everything appears to be working correctly, just curious if this is normal - thanks!

idk whats going on with that. It says its full but its really not... Might be a safestrap issue since we do have a preinstall limit. But doing the datapack was my only way around it and still get the rom to boot.

That's fine with me - I just wanted to make sure I didn't mess something up during the install. Thanks for the quick response - everything is working great! Very fast - keep up the good work!

Anyone else have issues with Google Now?

It will launch, but it doesn't have the voice activation and voice search never stops listening.
