I want detailed write ups people.
As for me, I used to be a hardcore Apex fan, it was smooth, customizable and bug free. Still is. Than I tried Nova, and it's just as smooth, more customizable and just as bug free. I feel like the customization menus on Apex are a little awkward compared to Nova, and when you hit the menu button there isn't 20K options. Just one extra. All in all, I feel like Nova is less intrusive, you can't tell you're running a 3rd party launcher other than you're customizations.
My .2¢.

Those of you that prefer Apex, why do you? Those of you that prefer Nova, why do you?

That's almost exactly my thoughts on the launcher topic.

I do have one concern though. when i look at my battery info it shows the phone being forever awake, in the past it was only when the screen was on.
running 4.80 with hotplugx
nova all the way, i like the folders in the app drawer, and it imported my old apex backup

hey Byte, I love the rom. I am looking forward to the nest version and hopefully using lightflow again.

It's not the ROM. use Watch Dog Task Manager Lite from the market to see what is gobbling CPU and RAM.

. It was Apex as the clear winner...I was editing my tags and OP a little bit, and for some reason the votes on the poll got wiped. I don't remember the exact votes, but I tried. :/

Define clear winner though. I knew Apex was winning, but I never looked at the numbers. Was Apex winning even more than 32 to 24? Give me a more accurate range and it will be changed.

ok, this superSU app is killing me... can I just uninstall it and replace with the normal superuser app? well, never mind.. i just rebooted the phone and got andy lying on his back belly open with a red triangle sticking out... Now I get to solve this...
Once you get up and running again, if you still want to give SuperSU the axe, it is pretty easy. Just open the SuperSU app, go to Settings, and select "Switch SuperUser App". Then you can install SuperUser and uninstall SuperSU, if desired.
On the other hand, if you have never opened the SuperSU app before, when you do so you will get a pop up asking if you want it to update SuperSU. If you allow that to happen, your issues may go away.

Battery life is indeed a little short with this version, but that is pretty bad. I suspect there could be something on your end affecting that.
