Found the fix for it! Go into Settings< Sign In, the triangle will appear in the status bar. Accept it, and it will sign in. Fixed.
Byte , I went to settings sign in, but every time I clicked allow access, it gave me login failed still.... Weird. Happened on 4.0 and 4.8.0

Yep same thing here. on flick4 I had to do it about 4 times for it to take, but I have done it about 15 on flick4.8 and nothing yet.... Maps seems to work fine, but the fact that it is not logging in properly is bugging me. other than this issue (or nonissue) loving this ROM. Thanks man.

Download /system/app/mover from the play store and make it a system app and then it will sign in. This should work for any app that won't sign in. you can remove the app from the systemif you want to but then the login may fail.

I tried the steps that rnh posted and I was able to login on the first try. Thanks for the fix!
Your very welcome. It's always a good feeling to get help that's quick and useful. This is a great rom for someone who wants an hdmi out rom. Byte continues to put a lot of continueing effort into it. As soon as accessibility is back it will be even better andrep. Flick and Simplex are the best hdmi out roms available IMHO.I also confirmed rnh method works, thanks for the help. Now this ROM is flawless hehe

I have the account on KOA Res. and it doesn't do anything to my stock side... Any ideas as to why this would happen?

Do a backup of your stock side which will save everything except perhaps some very large games which may need to be reinstalled. When you go back to non-safe stock restore your backup file rather than just going to the nonsafe side. Wipe he non-safe side and restore your stock backup. I don't know if this will work but logically it seems like it would. For some reason every time that I use Flick 4.0 and switch back to my stock side, it screws all of my exchange account up on the stock side and its like it completely forgot my stock side exchange account and takes forever to bring it back up to day, contacts, calender, email... I have to redo all of my favorites every time I use Flick because it basically forgets everything that I added after the account.

So this would accomplish what again? I am using SS3 just FYI and I don't understand why my exchange all gets forgotten when I switch to Flick but not other Roms, I have tried more than just KOA and never had a problem with my Exchange account getting forgotten on my Stock slot.
