Doesn't CPU sleeper app has the same function? If I use Hotplugx there is no need in using cpu sleeper app or can I use both ?HotplugX turns off a core during screen off and also during periods of low cpu usage. I use a monitor and can see it go off when there isn't much going on CPU usage wise. I think pegasusQ works a little better for multitasking. Just like everything else there is a trade off between battery and performance..

Is it a correct assumption that CPU Sleeper is not necessary when running hotplugx?HotplugX turns off a core during screen off and also during periods of low cpu usage. Sorry, didn't see the related question above

Great info, going to disable sleeper now. Do you know if hotplugx scales down the cpu on the live core to 300 when the screen is off?I have never used cpu sleeper. These governors are smart enough to do it themselves. I feel it is redundant and has the potential to cause problems (second core not waking up). A lot of the devs are tweaking the governors further for performance..battery performance as well as real world applications performance. Just my opinion though..I have used pegasusQ and HotplugX..I think HotplugX does a better job with the battery for low cpu usage shutdown of the second core.

During true idle it will. You don't want it to be locked at 300 though, that will actually drain more battery by keeping the CPU active longer than necessary.

Gotcha. Going to disable my profile setting the cpu speed to 300 when the screen is off now...During true idle it will. You don't want it to be locked at 300 though, that will actually drain more battery by keeping the CPU active longer than necessary.

I have that problem too. Cant use lightflow eitherOne big bug (for me anyway.) Accessibility is missing from settings. This makes one of my main apps (lightflow) inoperable. Tried gaining access by setting a settings activity but it just force closes settings.

Byte, there was one request I wanted to mention after 4.0 was released and forgot about, so perhaps this is a good time to tee it up for the next release. When opening Google Now it immediately provides notice that a new version is available from the Play Store. However, the store won't allow it to be downloaded because GNow is officially a Jellybean App so it says that the version is incompatible. It is possible for you to grab the new version and bake it into the next release?

CPU sleeper is not needed if you are using Hotplugx but if you are you using Pegasus then it would be better to use sleeper.

I'm not a dev, so I can't say for sure, but I think that Hotplugx does do the same thing as CPU sleeper. Maybe even better. I stopped using CPU sleeper because it would turn off a core of my CPU and it would stay off. I don't know if this is because I was using Hotplugx as my governor or if it was just something with my phone. Either way, I've found Hotplugx to be the best governor for myself. I score really well on quadrant with it and get good battery life. I may not be able to get as high a quandrant score as possible, but I think it's pretty good still.Doesn't CPU sleeper app has the same function? If I use Hotplugx there is no need in using cpu sleeper app or can I use both ?
Edit: Got the OC working. I forgot to change the permissions on the file.

The SU binanries need to be updated. I had the same problem with Apex, it kept asking for permission. Just click the SU app and let it update. All is well nowany of you guys having issues with superuser? installed titanium backup and it just kept asking for root rights...same with no frills cpu control in settings. reflashed twice...redownloading now.
