So far i like the rom. But is there any i can get stock keyboard back. Not digging swype so much.

I've long since liked Better Keyboard 8, but only saved font and skin I liked. Quite fitting for stock and dark modded ROM alike, I think. It seems to work flawlessly with any ROM for me so far. No longer available in the Android Market, it lives on in my backups. :-D

Extract it from another ROM, still has all the libs and stuff it needs to work.

Bytecode, one thing I've longed for since ICS dropped is caller id over Bluetooth, but it appears to be broken in all roms. Is this a kernal issue, do you know? Maybe it could be fixed in kexec if so? (See what you start by teasing us with your new experiments?)
Sounding like Dr. Seuss was not intentional :/

Download another rom, use something like 7zip or winrar to unzip it. Go into the System > App folder and find the LatinIME,apk (that's your keyboard) take it and put it on your sd card and use something like Root explorer to move and replace your current apk in the system > app > folder. Reboot and clear cache & dalvik (may not need to but I would anyway). Profit.

This quickpanel of Nitro's makes for a horrific porting experience! I've easily spent 6 hours on it! Decided to keep the brightness toggle in for now, as it makes everything much easier to port.

What I have done with Kexec is merely research, I'm still far away from using it in this ROM, if ever. I don't think it is a kernel issue, if Moto wanted to, they could have easily put it in without modifying the kernel.
Doctor Seuss FTW! :P

Just works with more music players, and I can take out the drivers.

Man, its been so long since I've been able to come on these forums. I'm back home. After many technical issues of life. I am very thrilled to see where this has come! I'm downloading this tonight and installing. Thank you Byte for all your hard work thus far.

First off, Thank You Byte.Great ROM
I cannot seem to get the play store to update itself. I tried installing the 3.9.17 apk but recieved an error, something like conflicting signature...
Any help would be appreciated.

Happened to me, to, on one of the ROMs. Uninstall the current Play apk with TiBu, and its data. Cycle phone off, wipe cache and Dalvik, restart, install (good) copy of current Play, let it re-learn your account info. If this doesn't work, then I musta got amature-lucky.

If somebody can upload and give me the new Play Store, I'll put it in the next version.

Anyone have an answer to how to get the OC file to give a complete download? I keep getting 1 kb for the file. Not sure if it's the server or my internet connection. Here is the Play Store.

I apologize for the link instead of a direct upload. I'm not very good with the forum interface. :(
