I tried copying app from deodexed 215, and also tried rebooting to stock, backing up and restoring to Flick. Same results... I'm betting on a crazy dependency

Wow! That's what has kept me lurking here, a dev who is almost OCD about his users issues! With 1.8.1 you've managed to pull ahead of my former daily driver (sorry, Matt), as far as my perceived experience. I can't wait to see what else you may be working on!

Is it just me or does Smart Actions no longer work?
Only complaint! Thanks for this wonderful update!

Not working for me.

I know Smart Actions no longer works, I was using it and when I got to 1.7.6 it stopped working. It's not my #1 priority right now.

Ok, I have now tried to restore the OEM Moto Quickoffice to another ROM (ArcticHD) with the same results. It looks as though the fonts are not present, so cannot be rendered. I have searched the stock side of my phone for any hidden font files, without result. From another forum I saw that Samsung owners were able to do the obvious simply by copying one apk... C'mon Moto! I'm not trying to steal anything, YOU put the app on my phone!
I also understand that installing a working copy of Quickoffice Pro will not cause the copy to behave any differently...

MAJOR facepalm! (to hide my red face)
:blink::(:unsure:
All I had to do was uncheck "Force GPU rendering" in the developer options!
Now Quickoffice is lookin' fine, my apologies for the red herring!

When I was talking about the render fx widgets I meant the old cyanogen roms. I might be out of date here as I have never used CM on my razr but on my droid incredible render fx allowed me to use for example only the red portion of the screen, such that I'd save some battery and my eyes in a dark room. It also happened to make the screen match my cars dashboard exactly and I've not been able to come across that functionality ever since. It definitely works differently than filter apps in the market - IE filter apps, if you select red, will add a red "tint" to things, but in a way where it even wakes up pixels that would be black in order to tint them red.....renderfx somehow did it in a subtractive manner whre only red pixels came through, and most actually were turned completely off.

Download any new apps? Can't be Flick itself, as I'm regularly getting 20-24 hours with 2 hours of screen time on my OG Razr.

Use Watchdog Task manager Lite from the Play Store to monitor CPU and RAM usage of running processes, will tell you what's running down your battery.

Having somewhat of an issue with this rom. Coming from Simplexrom.....After installing and going through the setup. Setup will stop working, once I restart the phone it will not go past the boot animation. Tried restoring, clearing Dalvik, Downloaded Flick again to eliminate bad download, Any ideas?

Did you do the following:
1. Download ROM and place on sdcard (ext)
2. Reboot into recovery
4. Format /system
5. Wipe data/factory reset
6. Wipe cache
7. Wipe dalvik
8. Flash ROM
9. Reboot
I followed these 9 steps to happiness coming from Simplex...

Always need to remember to do the "format /system" along with clearing everything else...Most roms are built off different "systems" so if you tried to run a stock rom over AOKP, it would cause massive problems.

I'll try the same things -- my battery life was better on stock with CPU Sleeper and SetCPU. I don't know why but i'm lucky to pull 15 hours with 45mins to 1hr of screen on time.
