With the OG Droid on Froyo there used to be a method of locking launchers into memory by either entering a command into a Terminal Emulator or adding a line at the end of /data/local.prop. I have absolutely no idea if this will work anymore, but if you're interested, below is the link to the LauncherPro website where you will find instructions.

I did lower the voltages a little more then last version, pushed the boundaries a little, your phone could not like that.

I can confirm that I was unable to install larger apps (>14MB) initially. Updated BusyBox from 1.19.x to 1.20.2 and installs are now working properly.

Thank you! :) I'll probably throw together a version with a lot of build cleanup, updated Busybox and apps tonight. See if that helps everybody.

Looks nice. I dig the circle battery and the Moto logo app launcher icons.

For some of those benchmarks I assume you're overclocked just a little bit
Really good benchmarks lol

I am getting the same error trying to download Word For Friends from Google Play. Tried rebooting, fixing permissions. etcc..

I had the same issue with words with friends installing as well. I think updating busybox then fixing permissions fixed it.

Updating Busybox and SuperUser did nothing for me. I've completely reinstalled 1.8.0 three times now and the same apps fail to load and nothing will move from Phone Memory to SD Memory using Ap2SD. For the apps that won't install, neither TIBU nor Google Play will work. This has never happened to me with any other ROM nor any previous version of Flick.

BC, if you can figure this out, you'll be my personal hero and this will be the absolute best ROM - ICS or JG - out there and I've tried just about every one!

Have you tried fixing permissions? The post above your says they had success updating Busybox and fixing permissions. the problem is that I don't know what I modified to make this problem.

Just checking, did you reboot after you installed the updated Busybox? Did you go into recovery and fix permissions?

This info helps me find out the issue more specifically, thank you. :)

Yes, I did all those things with no impact. I have a theory about what might be happening, but not why. However, I think I know how to run a test to confirm it, so I'll do that first rather than shooting from the hip now.

I do have one other question. I know that there has always been a "folder" off the main directory called sdcard and one called sdcard-ext for the internal and external sd cards. However, now I see another folder that is just empty called sd-ext. What is that one for? I don't remember noticing it before.

Busybox and fixing permissions did it for me. also wiped dalvik and unmounted and remounted sd card.. I also was able to restore more apps without errors using rom toolbox, it worked for me so I can only speak for myself. Best of luck everyone and overall I love this rom so thank you OP. Looking forward to a JB (cm10) build soon but I'll wait. This is my first flash and Ive been on .181 and stayed there till this rom hit.

I would like to add that it says 1.7.0 build instead of 1.8.0

I also noticed the extra folder! I have a theory of why it is there, lets hear yours also. :D

Lets get this issues solved!
