Byte...great job on this real smooth.

Is there a way to get a zip file to flash the old battery back for us with bad eyes? Ha

I replaced the battery files on the system ui with the old ones but when it chargss i get the alternating green and blue numbers that dont match...perhaps i need to copy a few othwr filws from the old battery stat files but dont know which onws.

I've made two zip files using solid text battery icons images. I'm not positive they will work as I have not tested them since I'm not currently on this ROM. You can give them a try if you like. Just remember to make a backup before flashing! These zip files were made using the SystemUI.apk from Flick 1.8.0 so you shouldn't lose the Blur signal icons or anything else that was added in the newest version.

First is the solid text battery in ICS blue identical to the ones on the previous version of Flick, with stock ICS charging icons. Second is solid text battery in ICS blue, both while charging and discharging. One thing I don't like about the second version is there's no way to tell that your phone is charging (since they are the same icons used while the phone is discharging) unless you check the lock screen text.

Please make a backup before flashing. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache, flash, reboot.

Hope this helps. My apologies if this does not work.

Bytecode, if you feel it's inappropriate to add these files in your thread let me know and I will remove them.

Edit: Added solid text battery with green solid text charging icons identical to past Flick versions if anyone wants it.

I also tried to download NYC Guide, same thing, "Could not install to SDcard or USB storage." I don't know what it could be, I have one idea, compcache, but that has been ruled out, maybe other compcache stuff needs to be taken out...

I'm getting the same SD error trying to install a ringtone maker. Also, any thoughts about how to get my hands on the voice commands program from ofw?

I can confirm that I was unable to install larger apps (>14MB) initially. Updated BusyBox from 1.19.x to 1.20.2 and installs are now working properly.

Just like to report that Smart Action doesn't seems to be working. It can be installed, run, and setup but just no effect.

Thanks.

I don't really want to steer things in the wrong direction, but for those who like smart actions: Have you tried Tasker? I have used Tasker since day one with all my devices. I believe it is to smart actions what a ti-83 is to a normal calculator.

Yes I have tried both Tasker and Llama. They both have more features than Smart Action. For me, I will still use Smart Action over the other two when it's possible. It's just easier to setup and it seems to be respond faster. Anyway, it doesn't matter for now since I have gone back to 1.45 until the unable to install certain app is solved.

I use AutomateIt Pro as a replacement for Smart Actions. It's got a very similar set up to Smart Actions. Easy set up and works great for me.

Tasker is an awesome app as well that allows you to automate virtually anything on your phone. It is true though that it can be a bit overwhelming and requires (at least for me) reading the instructions thoroughly and doing a bit of research on various forums. When you get the hang of it though, it really is an amazing app. The reason I dropped it in favor of AutomateIt was that it seemed that my phone would take a bit longer to go into deep sleep while Tasker was active.

Why is it I always end up back on Flick? As much as I love JB roms, too many issues for my everyday drivers. Best one I've found so far is Wizzed Bean but still too many issues. I'm back on Flick in about 3 minutes. Flashing now. Looks like you've made it kick much more arse than last time I flashed it. Thanks. Sincerely. You rock.
My Razr is sharp thanks to Droidrzr.com, I will cut you with it if I must.

With the OG Droid on Froyo there used to be a method of locking launchers into memory by either entering a command into a Terminal Emulator or adding a line at the end of /data/local.prop. I have absolutely no idea if this will work anymore, but if you're interested, below is the link to the LauncherPro website where you will find instructions.
