Using a root file explorer, go into /sytem/bin and delete "compcache". Reboot and see if that does anything.
Compcache didn't work on my phone, so I didn't bother taking it out maybe it is working for some of you.

Thanks for your reply. I tried that out but it still didn't work. It's really weird though, some apps restore fine it just gets stuck at a select few, mostly games.

I completed started over again, wiped everything, and reinstalled Flick 1.8.0 for a 2nd time. No difference. I still can't get certain - mostly larger apps - to install either with TIBU or via Google Play. And zero apps will move to SD from Internal storage using Ap2SD.

For any of you that seem to have 1.8.0 working without any of these issues, it would be great to have a few of you try a couple of things. 1) Install Ap2SD )if you don't already have it installed) and see if you can successfully move ANY app to SD. Also, try to install the app Trip Advisor - NYC Guide. If you find that either or both of these work for you, I'll really be scratching my head.

In reference to tibu from support page about when restore process hangs
You might have incorrect permissions (eg: 04755) on your "su" binary, which causes problems with some root apps.
Open a shell and do:
su
/data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files/busybox mount -o remount,rw /system
/data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files/busybox chmod 06755 /system/bin/su /system/xbin/su
/data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files/busybox mount -o remount,ro /system
Once it’s done, reboot your device and try again.

Tried the nyc guide, everything looked good, and then wham! Could not be installed, and got an error message, low memory i think it was. (Cleared before i could read it! Oops). Prior to that, everything went fine. However, i don't know that any others were that large.

I also tried to download NYC Guide, same thing, "Could not install to SDcard or USB storage." I don't know what it could be, I have one idea, compcache, but that has been ruled out, maybe other compcache stuff needs to be taken out...

So for this, when I type the first command it comes back with not found. Not saying this is the rom's fault at all, just curious why that would happen? This is a question for anyone if you happen to know. Otherwise it isn't an.issue for me presently. Rom is smooth and overall I am happy with it.

I was using ss2.11, and had the install issue. I used TB to install apps first, and it kept hanging in certain apps. Then went to install them through Play store and got the error. But at least one other did not use TB, and still had the problem, but he didn't wipe data when he upgraded Flick.

Here is what I found so far:

Some apps will install fine and some will not. Most apps under 25M install fine and some of apps above 25M (not all) will fail.

One app will fail is Tiny Farm. People who believes they don't have any issue can try it. Few others won't install but I don't remember.

A couple of apps I couldn't install were Cheat Database, and Svox English. Both small files.

Correct I forget to change build #s' a lot.

And loonie01 "data" is a general term 3G or 4G. In this ROM the max buffer size(speed) of all kinds of signal are increased. If it's slower, it's your signal, not my ROM.
