Titanium Backup was freezing on me also when I started re installing my apks.
I rebooted by phone and used Mybackup pro (i have a backup of all apks here also) and it works GREAT.
All my apks installed okay. ROM is working really good for me.
After about six hours I can say this ROM is very solid.
I have had no issues when installing apks from the Play Store
NFL mobile - works
My Verizon - works
mapquest - works locks fast
SS 2.11
i wiped x2 and formatted system
installed ROM
Next Steps:
install new gmail v4.2
make some ROM changes (that I happen to like)
Again, thanks for the ROM

That said, if I ignore that issue and just go my how everything works that did install OK, this ROM is really working great and smooth. No hangs or slow downs so far. I would have expected at least one or two by now with all previous Flick versions.

Messages force close when trying to add pictures on 1.8.0
Not for me, try wiping, fixing permissions, reflashing without any wipes, you know the drill.
Do you have a zip for a non-swype keyboard? I cant stand swype

I don't and don't plan to make one, going to have to get one form the market or get the theme keyboard from 24v's thread.
Byte...great job on this real smooth.
Is there a way to get a zip file to flash the old battery back for us with bad eyes? Ha
I replaced the battery files on the system ui with the old ones but when it chargss i get the alternating green and blue numbers that dont match...perhaps i need to copy a few othwr filws from the old battery stat files but dont know which onws.
If you want an easy solution, but with out some of the AOSP touches, take the SystemUI.apk from 1.3.1 or 1.4.5. If you take it from 1.4.5 you'll keep the AOSP stuff, but lose Blur signal icons.
Thank you for solving you conflict maturely. I would bet that all of you having the application issues are on using SS 3.0.4? I won't be patching this ROM for SS3 until it's official and out of Beta. I restored my stuff wit TiBu, no problems. I download apps from the market, no problems.

Don't think it has to do with ss3 as I am on the beta and had zero issues with tibu restore or any application, setting, Oc, or anything. In fact the rom has been perfect. Same, I never have ANY problems with my ROMs. I've never had hangs, or issues with ROMs that I don't state.
The people who are having problems with apps, could you think of anything that sets you apart? if it's not SS3, I can't think of anything I modified that could be causing the problem.

EDIT: It's a Beta, so I'm not gonna bother. I'll try updating Busybox first.

Updated Busybox, still having issues with restoring apps. Installing them from the Play store gives me this error: Cannot install to USB storage or SD card.

Using a root file explorer, go into /sytem/bin and delete "compcache". Reboot and see if that does anything.
Compcache didn't work on my phone, so I didn't bother taking it out maybe it is working for some of you.
