Gotta say I'm sorry people have been giving you such a hard time. I've loved your work so far and really appreciated your hard work. I hope to start rom developing and following in your footsteps. Have fun and I hope it gets fun for you again!

Volume rocker screen wake - WIP
Some more debloat - done
I'm unthrottling signal speeds from the services.jar - makes Mobile Networks in settings FC - done
Making the launcher harder to kill to reduce redraws - WIP
More audio steps to find just the right volume - done
Reboot from the long press menu - WIP
Disabled scrolling cache for smoother vertical scrolling - done
Disable charging LED - done
V6 Supercharger minfree and adj values - WIP
Blacking more stuff out - done
I'm going to work my butt off to get the freezes and lockups straightened out, will probably get help from another dev.
And whatever else I see fit to put in
There's your status report.

I wanted to publicly thank you for the countless hours you put in to make an incredible ROM. I'm sorry on behalf of everybody who wanted to take from you without acknowedging your hard work. I also know how it can burn you out by trying to please everybody, but I also know that people may put in "suggestions" and not properly say that it is only a request because they liked a certain feature, and their post may be misunderstood.
Again, thank you for what you have given to myself, and the community. And I hope that you continue your efforts in the future. For now, I would wish you a well deserved break.
Cheers,
B.D.

Apart from the occasional slowdowns, this ROM is great.
However I'm not sure if this has been reported, but I'm also experiencing a glitch in the lockscreen. It auto rotates even if I turned rotation off. This is somewhat annoying due to the orientation changing while I'm swiping to unlock the phone. Is there a way to fix this and remove rotation in the lockscreen altogether?
Thanks for all your hard work!

Not a glitch, second complaint I have gotten with this. Turning it off because i don't use it anyway.

Thank you, I do understand the requests, I don't have a problem with those, most of the time.
I have been experiencing a problem with Blue Tooth since I went to Flick and wondering if anyone else has experienced it. When I'm connected to my car's blue tooth it seems that after a time, maybe 20 minutes, it will disconnect. If I turn off blue tooth on the phone and restart it, I'll connect and stay connected for another 20 minutes or so. The time intervals change a bit but it happens consistently I'm wondering if there is a setting somewhere that disconnects Bluetooth after a while if not in use? Has anyone else experienced this? Once or twice, after it disconnected, when a call came in it reconnected itself, but at other times it would never re-connect. Is this a power saving feature or something that I can change? I am not running Juice Defender or anything like that, wondering if it is an issue with my car, the ROM or a setting. It didn't happen with other ROMs I was running.
BTW Love the ROM, great work on putting it together, sorry this next load will be your last!!
Don't use Bluetooth, so I can't answer the question, but nothing comes to mind that could be the problem.

Have you abandoned the attempt to add the long press volume rocker to skip music track? Not a request, just curious as I love that feature. I heard from a couple of devs now that it's a pita to implement. Thank you for your work and your time.

Yes, I have, it's extremely difficult. I spent a few hours and said screw it.

Sorry guys, but to things happening in my life and on here; I'm going to make one more big release and then I'm done for a VERY long time. I've worked on this and other related projects all summer and all the way into school, I'm just burnt out. I'm done with all of the criticism without a "Thank you", I'm done with hard work that I do without a "like" or a "Thank you" just a complaint. I'm not saying that all of you are bad, many of you are grateful for what all devs do for the community and like, donate and say thank you. Most of all, I'm done with frustration of doing this.
I feel you guys, that definitely sucks. People can sometimes seem very unappreciative of ones help. When I help someone and don't even get a simple thank you, I try to remind myself that the good deed was still done on my part. In the end, what gives me the greatest pleasure is knowing that I was successful in helping someone. That usually helps me feel better.

you spoke of a final update. i'm on 1.4.5, is that the last?
Nope, there is going to be what looks to be 1.6, from how the versions are progressing.

Thank you for all of your support guys! Let it be known that I'm taking out a whole bunch of things in the next build, I'm going to make it something I would truly run, no compromises for the user. Not something that appeases others,
There's your status report.
Thanks Byte. That's the way to do it. I was on 1.3 for a long time. Loved it. I want a ROM from a Dev that will run it themselves..Not because they are appeasing to the masses but because they believe in what they are developing.

After I release the next version of this I'm going to start a JB AOKP ROM.
It will be unthemed
It will be focused on battery life, as JB is already smooth.
It will have the consistent updates you see on this ROM
It will have a lot of the framework mods that this already has and is getting in the next version
It will be a lot more polished on first release then Flick was.
Anyway...
