Ok, I recently tried flashing a rom and I did the whole system, cache wipe and etc. It went through successfully but the device never booted up into the rom. I use safestrap and once it went through safestrap recovery to try to boot the device, the screen just stay black. Do you think this had anything to do with it?I always format when I flash

Are you flashed a ROM. Black screen means no ROM

Did you format system after flashing the ROM?... Don't do that.

1. Wipe /System
2. Wipe /EMMC (generally a step that can be skipped if you haven't been hacking around )
3. Wipe /Cache
4. Wipe Dalvik Cache
5. Flash ROM
-Flash GAPPS if necessary
6. Wipe /Cache

I've had very very minor issues. Some small hangs here and there. Cleared caches and made a difference. This is the first custom ROM on my RAZR Maxx. Been holding out after being a crackflasher on my old DX. Glad to be a flashing addict again :-)
Only thing I would love to see added is the ability to change the pull down toggles.

Only suggestion i have is maybe the ability to customize the apps on lock screen and a full lock screen option. This thing is smooth as hell, quick and does the battery good i plan on supporting u soon cuz ur work is well worth it. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication.

You can change the apps on the lockscreen, just freeze or uninstall the app you want to replace and set the app you want to replace it with as default.
Elaborate on full lockscreen option, do you mean an extra option in the settings menu to change the amount of seats and the apps in the seats? Like in AOKP?

4 hours 45 minutes of screen time today (on auto brightness). Heavy Internet usage. 12.5 hours total since unplugged and still at 25 percent. Everything seems to run very nice. Been running for 2 days now.

Please define "hangs" I've heard that word thrown around a lot in terms of this ROM and still don't know what people mean by it.
Customizing the pulldown toggles and making an entirely new option in the settings menu to customize the lockscreen is very advanced stuff, and as I'm still a learning dev won't be coming anytime soon. Don't mean to discourage you guys, just being real. I guess my next build will be Jellybean AOKP once data is more reliable.

By hangs I mean small moments where the phone will freeze. Almost like it's catching up to my input. Sounds weird I know but that's about the best way I can describe it. Quite a bit of it happened yesterday while using Tapatalk 2... And I'm becoming more convinced its actually a tapatalk problem and not a ROM problem.
I did have it freeze once when browsing on Dolphin Browser. Was searching good old Google and pulled down notification bar. It became unresponsive, took about 45 seconds for the notification bar to roll back up, and about another minute for Dolphin to finally force close.
It's really hard to tell you it's an actual ROM problem because I restored data from TB to those specific apps. I know that's often the outcome you get when using backed up data on a new ROM. It's always better not to restore data.
I haven't had the issues again since I cleared cache and dalvik this morning.
I know the toggle choices is a hard one to implement. I was just trying to not sound all "googly eyed" over this ROM LOL.
Donation sent earlier today. I really hope you continue to develop. I'll have this phone at least until Big Red comes out with a galaxy note equivalent :-)

To add to that, I've been running logcat to see what the problem might he but since I started it I have not had a hang up lol.
Wow, nice idea, when you get another hang, just PM me the logcat, and I will do my best to see if I can fix it.
Edit: OP updated with much more specific coming soon.

Invert_all.zip for phone, messaging, calander, etc.
I've flashed the zip and the moto phone was replaced with an all black AOSP one... doesn't bother me in the least, but noteworthy for people who are curious.
Also: My messaging app did not invert. I'm guessing this is a motorola messaging app themed white?
Is it possible to get AOSP SMS? I genuinely prefer black theme everything
Loving this ROM btw! I can't wait till everything is ironed out and stabilized. I've been keeping an eye on this thread for two weeks now with extremely high hopes! :-)

EDIT: To get the full black backdrop in settings and in the reboot menu, flash the "Inverter_Duty_Mod-SimplexROM.zip" because this flash has the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk in it. It also inverts your calendar, contacts/phone, email, and mms. It is completly possible to get the AOSP SMS, and it should flash to the black AOSP SMS with that Inverter.Zip which I found in the simplex rom forum.
When you flashed the "Inverter_Duty_Mod-SimplexROM.zip" did you have any issues with notifications sticking on the notification bar after clearing them? I remember that being an issue last time I used Simplex.
