Love is this rom everything is working great and battery life is fantastic. Two things I was wondering with the blacked out text message app, I sent out a group text this morning and it send out individuals instead of a group message so I got all singular response messages back, is there a way to fix this? Also only my google contact pictures show up in the text contacts, my contacts that have facebook pictures synced just show up as empty icons. Thanks again for the really fast rom!

Use Facebook picture sync in the play store to fix that.

Is there any way of getting the clock off the status bar or at least blacking it out?

Yes, but you have to decompile SystemUI.apk and edit some XML. I don't remember where it's located I'd have to look, and I won't ever use a mod to take the clock away. So I wont be making one.

I have had success! ...mostly. I successfully changed the 4g, 3g, 1x and signal bars to white in the status bar, but I have not been so lucky with the battery. I edited over 108 pngs to make the battery white, but when I flashed it, it was still blue. I also have not had any luck changing the clock to white. Can anyone fully explain to how to change the color of the clock for me? and also, is there a place other than the systemui where I need to change the battery icons? any help is appreciated!

It's in SystemUI just as the other stuff is.

Navigate to /res/layout/status_bar.xml

Look for this line:

Change

android:textColor="#ff33b5e5"

To

android:textColor="#ffffffff"

As that is the hex code for white

Recompile, do the appropriate actions and test it out.

Awesome! Thanks man! One more question, I am using notepad++, but I am seeing a ton of symbols and its not making much sense... Do I change the coding or is there another text editor you'd reccomend?

You have to decompile it using APKTool to edit XML.

I kept getting hangs on trying to use browser.. it would just keep trying to load up websites but wouldn't. I would then hold home button. And close browser. Then it would open pages. Clean flash.. didn't mess with any governers or overclocking
Hey bub, I'm not finished with you yet..... SKNIT!!

Just loaded 10 or so pages in the browser no problem. Try clearing caches and data on browser.

Just let it sleep for ~20 minutes and tried again. No problems. Any of you know Apple and Google are bidding together to buy Kodak patents? lol
