Are you referring to contact pics from gmail or another source?

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

Both I think, most of my pictures are synced from facebook but they all show up in dialer regardless (when I looked at my recent calls or when I make a call the contact pictures show up). When I look in the text message app I don't see the pictures in both the list page or a specific text thread page. Does that make sense?

For those who's phone does not go into deep sleep... I had the same issue after loading the ROM. I did not have any new apps, so I knew it's not a rogue app. But I did restore data for a lot of apps with TB. Figured it may be some app cache carry over that's causing a problem. Wiped both cache and Davlik cache. Rebooted. Deep sleep is back. So, try that.

Now on to figure out why the reboot option in SwitchPro widget does not work, even when the root access is granted...

This rom is fantastic. My battery life is phenomenal and I haven't even under clocked it yet. I was at 40% after 15 hours and like 4 hours of screen time (lowest brightness of course) but that's awesome. Nice job.

Ok, so Flick 4.8 was my first time using Safestrap 3. I love having both Flick 4.8 and Stock roms installed. Now to upgrade to Tornado: Can I just remove Flick 4.8, wipe that partition, and upgrade to Flick 5? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall apps? Or should I just do a full wipe/factory restore and redo my whole phone? Sorry for the noob questions, but your help is GREATLY appreciated.

And I LOVE Flick ;)

Flashed this about an hour ago. Loving it so far. Haven't found any bugs yet. Thanks for the hard work! Anxious to see how it works as a new daily driver.

Best bet is to backup non system apps with something like titanium backup, complete wipe, install, then restore apps.

By far the fastest ROM I have ever used. 5.0 is well named as the tornado. Posted 7909 in antutu. Highest I have ever gotten with no overclocking. Great work.

Since FoxFi usage policy changed I tried the "built in" Tethering & Mobile Hotspot in Flick. Does this operate in a stealth-like manner as FoxFi does so Verizon doesn't bill me if I use it for a few minutes here and there? TIA.

I don't think verizon can charge for it anymore. I haven't tried the rom again yet but I think I had the stock work in flick 1.xx something...

yeah from my understanding is when you do the "hack" it skips checking with Verizon so they don't even know you are using it.

You need to find the app thats causing it not to go into deep sleep...It's usually called a "rogue app". You need to figure it out through an app like "permission dog" or something.

How do you use permission Dog to find a rogue app?

Honestly I'm not sure :) I just googled it and CNET came up with that...You can try using this :

And finding the app thats killing your battery...If its running while your phone is not then it's technically a rogue app and will cause your phone to not go into deep sleep.

Press wipe. You shouldn't have to since its new, but just to be safe DO "The Wipes." Wipe System, Factory reset, Dalvik cache and cache.

Back up to main menu again, press Install.

Find where you placed your downloaded ROM.zip and install it.

Of course make sure you're on the partition that has Flick on it when you do this.

Kind of a copy/paste from Gytol'es instructions linked in the OP.

My camera app is crashing when I try to take a picture using the Front-Facing Camera (The once that faces you).
