Has anyone been able to update Google Now to the latest version? Keeps telling me my device isn't compatible?

Because it is incompatible with any device on ICS, Google Now is a JB specific app, the good people at XDA port it over to ICS for us. Have to wait, Idk if they've ported it yet.

Just came back to make a similar comment, when I search something with Google Now, I can't click any links unless it's a sub-link to the URL... for instance, if I Google a Wikipedia article and click the sublink 'plot', it will open in the browser, but if there is no sublink for the URL, I can't open it.
I'll update Google Now next, and to answer your question, that is a bug in the port. Rotate your screen and click the link, will work then.

Cpu spy doesnt show me going into deep sleep unless I turn on airplane mode.
You need to find the app thats causing it not to go into deep sleep...It's usually called a "rogue app". You need to figure it out through an app like "permission dog" or something.

Thank you!I'll update Google Now next
BTW, this is what was added to the Dec. 5th Google Now update:
For Android 4.1+ (Jelly Bean), Google Search keeps getting faster, plus:
New cards:
- Events nearby
- Suggestions to help with your research
- Boarding passes from Gmail (United only, more to come)
- Search by camera when at museums or shops
- Weather at upcoming travel destinations
- Approximate monthly summary of walking and biking activity
- Birthdays (the cards now have new options, like post a happy birthday wish to G+ from the notification bar)
New voice actions:
- Say "What's this song?" to find the song you hear
- Say "Scan a barcode" to find product info

This is working great for me! Google Now is a little buggy, freezes sometimes but other than that I haven't had one FC. The only small issue I'm having is that my contact pictures won't show up in text messages. If I click on the contact in the text thread it will bring up the contact card with the picture and all the info but in the regular thread and text list it just shows the empty picture. Anything I can do for this? Thanks!
Are you referring to contact pics from gmail or another source?
