I have also had the problem where I've gotten 2 duplicate texts. 11 is indeed a little extraneous. The problem only occurs for me once every 500 texts or so, I haven't worried about all that much tbh.

Try fixing permissions? Reflashing with no wipes?

I feel like were some very short days from release. Monday at the latest hopefully. Battery life is better on the first flash, but the real test is today.

Changelog from 4.8.0:

Changed default governor to hotplugx and tuned it a little

Fixed and brought back Accessibility settings

Brought 900Mhz back down to 800Mhz

Put Superuser back in

Tweaked up the tweaks and made performance tweaks less aggressive to bias towards battery life

Put Nova Launcher in and Apex out - Zipaligned and Loopy Smoothness tweaked Nova

Did some AOSP theme touchups in SystemUI, framework-res, and Settings.apk

Changed battery icon

Reorganized init.d a lot, much of the work in this version was on the scripts

Slightly darkened Auto Brightness

Rezipaligned everything in case any of it wasn't

Took out Voice Search as Google Now can serve the same purpose even while deactivated

Took out some ringtones that were just.... there

Resigned everything - Tried to find all the apps that would be updated and put the unsigned versions back in

Awesome new Bootanimation by ZKK007

Fixed kernel tweaks causing wakelocks

Cleaned up build.prop a little bit

Changed how much RAM some apps got by the "renice" command

The main goal of this version was to get good battery life without sacrificing performance. We'll know today if that has been accomplished.

Hi Byte quick question, will you be fixing the battery drain due to pegasusx ? I find pegasus to be much snappier compare to hotplugx (on my phone at least) and would like to use it if I can.

Yes, fully functional again.

I just switched the default to hotplugx, I think Pegasusq and hotplugx are the best so I only have those in. So yes, you will still be able to use Pegasusq

Is there any chance of getting a flashable script to do away with the pulldown toggles ?

That's very easy, I already have an apk lying around with that done. I'l update it and make the zip. Hopefully lol just know that it's on my mind.

OHHH! HEY! Noticed something - this might have already been posted but - I'm on 4.8, and using lapdock, when a call comes in, if I answer the call it doesn't seem to be in speakerphone mode as it's supposed to be. I have to actually dig up the phone screen and activate it.

It used to work normally in previous versions of the rom, just figured I'd throw that out there in case nobody caught it yet.

Might be that this is just a setting I missed, didn't see anything when poking around, but it used to be on whenever docked/HDMI by default.

Just to be clear, this is a modified Razr M boot animation. I can't take all the credit for it. That goes to Motorola :P

I don't test it like that because I have a lot of builds that the changes don't come all at once. But as always, I recommend a full wipe... Cuz if don't wipe, don't gripe.

Wait for 5.0, as it's the most polished and tested Flick so far. And coming very soon. Making sure that everything is set, I had a little GApps experiment and I'm cleaning up from that lol
