The 4G settings FCing is a known issue. Have you tried ALL the wipes, system and data being the most important.

Loving the rom so far. One question. When 5.0 is released will we have to do a full wipe? What are people using to backup apps they have installed. I use my backup for txts and phone log.

Hi Byte have you experienced where the blue tooth suddenly disconnects? This happens to me randomly.. I'll be on a call and without any reason it suddenly disconnects. I wonder if there is any sleep policy for that?

I am having the same issue with my blue tooth. I had this problem in 4.0 as well but not in any previous versions. It just disconnects randomly sometimes after 20 minutes, 30 minutes then 10 minutes, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. The only way to get it back is to shut off and restart blue tooth.

I'll look around for the Bluetooth problem. I found my battery drain problems, there are some kernel tweaks causing wakelocks, I/O tweaks eating battery, and every time cron dumps caches the CPU as to build them back up. Lets see if i'm correct. testers should see a F5 "Tornado" RC2 in a little bit. Nice nickname BTW, Tornado.

Bytecode,

After reading your post above I just have to say that I'm amazed by your talents. I'm not a developer so to even try to figure out how you plow through logs and thousands (millions?) of lines of code and make changes to (for example) change how your battery is being used is voodoo magic to me... Sure, at this point it may be plain text script tweaking, but the skill, logic, and patience to take a ROM from start to an awesome final product blows my mind. Thank you for doing what you do!

I'm actually getting really good battery with 4.80. I'm not putting up screenshots cause I don't feel like it..I'm not a battery watching junkie, but I can say that from my everyday use that it is holding up pretty well. Everything I need it to do it does, I don't use bluetooth so I can't complain about anything at this point..freaking awesome..

I'm trying to hold off for 5.0 instead of installing 4.8. But its sooo tempting. Been checking this all day.

Is 5.0 going to have the battery drain fix or will that be a later version?
